About me and my therapy practice
Are you feeling overwhelmed, experiencing difficult or distressing emotions, or finding life difficult to manage? Perhaps you’ve noticed changes in your sleep, appetite or relationships, or feel that you’re struggling to cope with things on your own. Whatever has brought you here, taking the first step towards therapy can feel overwhelming at first, however it could also be the start of a more fulfilling life.
My own experience of therapy was life-changing and ultimately inspired me to become a therapist. I understand how daunting it can feel to open up to someone for the first time, but also how powerful it can feel to be genuinely heard and understood. I aim to create a confidential, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can be yourself and explore what is happening for you at your own pace.
I’m an integrative therapist working with adults and young people experiencing a range of difficulties, including anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship and family issues, separation and divorce, domestic abuse, panic and anxiety and parenting-related concerns. I also have personal and therapeutic experience supporting neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD and autism, as well as individuals experiencing disordered eating and self-harm.
As an integrative therapist, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches and tailor our work to your individual needs. Sometimes you may simply need space to talk and feel listened to; at other times, we may explore past experiences and relationships to understand how they may be influencing your present life. Together, we can develop greater self-awareness, resilience and healthier ways of coping.
My hope is that therapy gives you the opportunity to better understand yourself, explore what matters to you and make meaningful changes. If you’d like to explore whether we might be a good fit, I offer a free initial consultation and welcome you to get in touch.
Practice description
Therapy can provide a space to pause, reflect and make sense of what is happening in your life. My aim is to offer a safe, confidential and supportive online space where you can talk openly about whatever is on your mind.
I believe that the therapeutic relationship is an important part of the process. I aim to work collaboratively with you, offering compassion, curiosity and understanding, while creating a non-judgemental space where you can feel heard and accepted.
I offer both short-term and long-term therapy, depending on your needs and what you would like to work towards. We can discuss this during our initial consultation and review our work together as therapy develops.
All sessions are offered online, allowing you to access therapy from a private and comfortable space of your choice.
I offer a free initial consultation, giving us an opportunity to talk about what has brought you to therapy, what you are hoping for and whether we might be a good fit.
My first session
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin to understand what has brought you to therapy. I will carry out a brief assessment to understand your current needs and what you would like support with. We will also go through the therapeutic agreement together to make sure you understand the process, boundaries, confidentiality and what you can expect from our work.
If you are comfortable and happy to do so, we may also begin creating a genogram. This is a visual way of exploring your family relationships, history and patterns, and can help us develop a deeper understanding of experiences that may be relevant to what you are currently going through.
We will always work at a pace that feels comfortable for you, and there is no expectation that you share anything you are not ready to discuss.

I understand that starting therapy can feel like a big step, particularly if you are unsure what to expect or have never spoken to a therapist before. We will work at a pace that feels comfortable for you, and there is no expectation to share anything before you feel ready.
As an integrative therapist, I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches and adapt the way I work to your individual needs. Sometimes, you may want space to talk about current difficulties and how they are affecting you. At other times, we may explore past experiences and relationships to gain a deeper understanding of patterns that may be influencing your life today.
