About me and my therapy practice
Are you struggling with a loss or life change that’s left you feeling unlike yourself?
When something shifts—like a bereavement, relationship ending, or change in identity—it can leave you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward.
I specialise in supporting people through loss in its many forms - not just the loss of a loved one, but also loss of confidence, direction, relationships, or sense of self.
I offer a calm, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and begin to make sense of what you’re feeling, at your own pace.
How I can help
Many people I work with feel:
ï‚· Overwhelmed or emotionally drained
ï‚· Anxious, low, or lacking confidence
ï‚· Stuck and unsure what to do next
ï‚· Changed by a loss or life experience
Together, we can:
ï‚· Make sense of difficult emotions
 Understand what’s going on for you
ï‚· Explore patterns in your thoughts and relationships
ï‚· Rebuild confidence and self-understanding
ï‚· Help you feel more grounded and able to move forward
My approach
I work in a person-centred and integrative way, tailoring sessions to you as an individual.
Some people need space to talk and process what’s happened. Others want to understand themselves more deeply or make changes in their lives. We will work together at a pace that feels right for you.
Experience
Alongside my private practice, I have supported clients experiencing grief and loss through bereavement work with Cruse since 2021, as well as working with anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges.
Before becoming a counsellor, I had a background in elite sport. This gives me an understanding of identity, pressure, and the emotional impact of change and transition.
I offer a free initial consultation so you can see if I’m the right fit for you.
Taking the first step
Reaching out can feel difficult, especially if you’re used to coping alone.
If you’re thinking about starting therapy, you’re very welcome to get in touch—we can take it one step at a time.
Practice description
Finding the right counsellor is really important, but it can be confusing and even a bit scary. You need to choose someone you can connect with, so I offer an initial 30 minute telephone consultation free of charge to discuss your needs and talk about how we could work effectively together.
If you decide I am the right therapist for you, there will be a short assessment form to complete and then sessions can be carried out in person, online, on the telephone or through via walk and talk therapy in and around the Worthing area.
Sessions are 50 minutes in duration
I am open to concessionary rates, depending on your circumstances.
My first session
After our initial free conversation, I will send you a short form to complete and return before your first session. I will then briefly go through the form with you in session 1.
After this, the session will be a chance for you to talk through some of the challenges you are facing.
