About me and my therapy practice

I am an experienced therapist specialising in working with trauma, particularly the impact of sexual violence and childhood sexual abuse.

I offer a caring, confidential and non-judgmental space for you to explore any difficult feelings or experiences at your own pace.

While I am qualified in person-centred counselling I do work integratively, offering psychoeducation to address trauma and the skills needed to manage its impact.

I work particularly with difficult feelings around self-worth, self-esteem and any misplaced shame that you may have experienced.

I am comfortable working with any mental health diagnosis and exploring what this may mean to you. I work with adults 18+ of all genders. I am a firm ally of the LGBTQ+ community.

About me and my therapy practice

As a supervisor, I provide a safe, supportive, and reflective space where practitioners feel valued, heard, and empowered in their work. I offer guidance, encouragement, and constructive challenge, using the Seven-Eyed Model of supervision to explore the different perspectives that influence practice. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and strengths-based, helping individuals develop confidence, deepen self-awareness, and enhance their professional effectiveness. I am committed to promoting reflective practice, wellbeing, and continuous learning, ensuring supervision is both supportive and meaningful.

Practice description

I offer both online and face-to-face supervision, providing flexibility to suit individual preferences and circumstances. My practice is based in Worcester, conveniently located near the city centre.

As a qualified counsellor, I bring many years of experience working within both organisational settings and private practice. This breadth of experience enables me to support practitioners working with a diverse range of clients and presenting issues, while offering a reflective, supportive, and professionally grounded supervisory space.

My first session

In our first session together, we will spend time getting to know one another and exploring our individual working styles. This helps us begin building a supportive, collaborative, and trusting supervisory relationship.

Your first session is an opportunity to ask questions, share your expectations, and explore what you would like supervision to look like as we move forward together.

Supervision is not only a ÌÇÐĹÙÍø ethical requirement; it is also a dedicated and confidential space where you can bring your clinical work, reflect on your practice, and explore themes that arise for both you and your clients. Within a warm, open, and supportive environment, we will work in line with the ÌÇÐĹÙÍø Ethical Framework. Together, we will reflect on your therapeutic work, consider any challenges or areas for growth, and identify the most appropriate steps to support your ongoing development as a practitioner. Throughout our work, the wellbeing, needs, and goals of your clients will remain at the heart of our conversations.
