About me and my therapy practice
Tired of being the strong one? Want to feel more like yourself but don't know where to start? You're in the right place.
I'm Lucy, an experienced Integrative Counsellor and I'd love to welcome you into my gentle space when you're ready to explore what's going on beneath the surface and find ways to start improving the way you feel about yourself.

If so, I want you to know that you're not alone. I support individuals going through the above topics everyday and I believe that my grounded, non-judgemental, relatable approach will help you to feel more at ease and find a sense of confidence and contentment.
I offer a free 20 minute introductory call (via telephone or video) for us to chat through what you'd like to get out of therapy and whether I'm the right fit for your needs. I completely understand how daunting it can be to reach out for support so please be reassured I will make every effort to help you feel comfortable.
Practice description
Overall I work integratively, which means I blend different forms of therapy (mainly person centred, psychodynamic and CBT) together, depending on what feels most helpful for you. We'll shape our sessions around what you need in a way that fits your aims, personality and where you are in your life.
I like to get to know the whole you (not just how you're feeling mentally), so I can offer suggestions that feel unique to you - because I believe this is important to creating long lasting perspective shifts and habits for you.
My first session
I'm not expecting you to have the right words - not at all in fact. My job is to help you feel safe and comfortable to share what's on your mind, however messy or disjointed it may sound to you once it comes out, I will help you make sense of it and help you walk away feeling lighter. I'm not here to 'fix' you (because you're not broken!) I'm here to allow you the space to explore, talk freely and honestly and to go at your own pace.
During the first session we'll explore what's on your mind, where you want to get to and start building up a picture of the key areas that feel relevant to you to work through.
