About me and my therapy practice
I offer a warm, steady and trauma‑informed space where you can slow down, breathe, and make sense of what’s happening inside you. Many people come to me feeling overwhelmed, stuck in old patterns, or carrying experiences from childhood or relationships that still affect them today. You don’t need to have everything figured out, we begin gently, at your pace, with your safety and choice at the centre of our work.
My approach is integrative and humanistic, blending talking therapy with gentle somatic awareness to help you understand not only what you feel, but how you feel it in your body. Together, we explore the patterns, emotions and beliefs that shape your life, and we work towards helping you feel more grounded, connected and in control.
For those who want a more embodied or creative way of working, I also offer optional tools such as sound‑based therapeutic work, tapping techniques and reflective card processes. These can support emotional regulation, deepen insight, or help you access parts of yourself that words alone can’t always reach.
Whether you’re navigating anxiety, burnout, relationship difficulties, low self‑worth or a sense of disconnection, therapy with me offers a calm, compassionate space to reconnect with yourself and move towards the life you want to live.
Practice description
Life moves in cycles, moments of change, uncertainty, endings and beginnings. Sometimes these shifts feel natural, and at other times they can feel overwhelming, especially when past experiences have left deep impressions on the body and mind. When pain, fear, anger or loss have been carried alone or pushed down for a long time, they often reappear later as emotional or physical distress.
These experiences can show up as:
- persistent or overwhelming thoughts
- repeating patterns or coping strategies that no longer help
- feeling emotionally, creatively or physically blocked
- difficulties in relationships or connection
- the weight of trauma, grief or unresolved experiences
- a loss of energy, inspiration or sense of self
- low mood or the impact of long‑term stress on the body
Counselling offers a steady, compassionate space where your experiences are met with care and curiosity. You don’t need to have the right words or a clear story — we begin wherever you are.
Together, we can:
- gently explore difficult experiences at a pace that feels safe
- reconnect you with your agency, inner resources and sense of choice
- create space for grief, transitions and emotional processing
- notice and release emotional or somatic blocks when you feel ready
- strengthen self‑worth, boundaries and your connection to who you are
Therapy isn’t about erasing your past. It’s about finding kinder, more grounded ways to carry what you’ve lived through, so you can move forward with greater clarity, compassion and connection to yourself..
My first session
I offer counselling in the spirit of dana, a practice of mutual generosity.
There is no set fee. Instead, I invite you to offer what feels right for you, in a way that reflects your circumstances and the support you receive here.
To help us both feel grounded, I ask that you choose your contribution before we begin working together. This becomes the amount you offer for each session, and you are welcome to review it at any time if your circumstances change.
Contributions are made at least 24 hours before each session. I will share payment details once we agree to work together.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 24 hours’ notice so I can hold the space responsibly.
Your dana honours the work we do together and supports my ability to offer this space with presence and care. And if you ever feel unsure about dana, we can talk about it, it is part of the relational field we are creating.
First Step
We begin with a gentle, informal chat, either by phone or email, so you can share a little about what you’re looking for and ask any questions. From there, we can arrange a free pre‑session meeting, either face to face or online. This gives you a real sense of what it feels like to sit with me, and helps us both decide whether we’re a good fit to work together.
Next Step
Before your first full appointment, I’ll send you a counselling agreement and a short screening form. These simply help us start with clarity and understanding. We’ll go through them together in your first session so nothing feels rushed or overwhelming.
Ongoing Sessions
In our first session, we’ll agree on an initial number of sessions, usually at the same time each week. This is flexible and can change as your needs change. You’re welcome to continue for as long as the work feels helpful, and we can bring things to a close whenever you feel ready. The pace and direction of therapy are always shaped around you.

About me and my therapy practice
I offer supervision for counsellors working with children, young people and adults, and I welcome both trainees and qualified practitioners. My approach is warm, collaborative and steady, creating a safe, reflective and non‑judgemental space where you can explore your work openly. My intention is to support you in deepening your clinical thinking, strengthening your therapeutic identity, and feeling resourced in the emotional demands of the work.
My practice is interactive and creative, drawing on humanistic, transpersonal and Eastern‑informed perspectives. I’m interested in how we hold the emotional, energetic and relational layers of therapeutic work, and I encourage supervisees to bring their whole selves into supervision — intuition, embodied responses, creativity, symbolism and the subtle dynamics that arise when working with clients of different ages. This is a space where your therapeutic voice can grow with confidence.
For those who work creatively or somatically, I am experienced in integrating approaches such as sound‑based therapeutic work, tapping techniques and reflective card processes. These can be explored to help you understand your own responses, expand your toolkit, or consider how creative modalities may support your client work. If your practice is more traditional or verbally focused, supervision can remain firmly rooted in ethical grounding, clinical reflection and thoughtful case exploration.
I support supervisees in navigating safeguarding, developmental stages, emotional regulation and the relational needs that arise when working with children and young people. For adult work, we may explore themes such as trauma, identity, transitions, attachment and the therapist’s own process.
Supervision is available online via Microsoft Teams or face‑to‑face in a calm, comfortable setting. My aim is to offer a supportive, nourishing and professionally inspiring space where you feel grounded, confident and able to grow as a practitioner.
Practice description
I offer integrative and humanistic supervision for individuals and groups, supporting both qualified counsellors and those in training. My supervision style is warm, steady and collaborative, creating a safe and reflective space where you can bring your client work, explore challenges, and deepen your confidence as a practitioner.
Supervision with me is a place for growth, curiosity and professional nourishment. Together, we look at what feels strong in your practice, what feels uncertain, and the relational dynamics that sit beneath the surface. You are encouraged to bring your whole therapeutic self — your intuition, creativity, embodied responses and questions — into the space.
I draw on the Seven‑Eyed Supervision Model, which helps us explore your work from multiple perspectives: the client, the therapeutic relationship, your internal process, the wider context, and the dynamics that arise between us in supervision. This approach supports spacious, reflective thinking and opens up new insights into your practice.
I welcome supervisees who work with children, young people and adults, and I offer thoughtful support around developmental needs, safeguarding and the emotional demands of the work. Whether your practice is traditional, creative, somatic or integrative, there is room here for your full way of working.
Whether
My first session
Our first session together is an important starting point. It gives us the chance to get to know each other and explore how we both like to work, so we can see if the relationship feels like a good fit. This is your space to share what you are looking for, how you approach your client work, and what you need from supervision to feel supported.
As we continue, we will have regular check-ins to make sure the supervision is meeting your professional needs. My priority is always to ensure that you feel resourced and confident in your practice, so that your clients are receiving the care and safety they deserve through you.
I aim to keep our conversations open and transparent, so that any challenges can be worked through with honesty and integrity. This creates a safe and trusting environment, not only for the work we do together, but also for when the supervision relationship naturally comes to an end. At that point, there will be space to reflect, acknowledge the journey, and say goodbye in a way that feels respectful and complete.
