About me and my therapy practice
Who supports the person everyone else relies on?
If you’re carrying pressure, responsibility or emotional weight while trying to keep everything together, therapy offers a space where you don’t have to hold it all alone.
I am a person-centred counsellor offering a warm, calm and supportive space for adults who may be feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained or struggling to cope.
You might be managing anxiety, burnout, grief or the impact of difficult life experiences, while still trying to function day-to-day. Therapy gives you the space to slow down, be heard without judgement, and begin to understand what you need.
My approach is grounded in person-centred therapy, meaning I work at your pace and focus on what feels most important to you. I believe you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to support you in making sense of your experiences in a safe and respectful environment.
I have experience supporting clients with:
* Anxiety and overthinking
* Burnout and workplace stress
* Bereavement and loss
* Trauma and difficult past experiences
* Low self-esteem and confidence
* Relationship challenges
* Emotional overwhelm
Alongside my counselling work, I have over 10 years’ experience in social care, supporting individuals and families facing complex challenges including trauma, homelessness and and working with children and young people in care and semi independent accommodation.
I am also a trained Critical Incident Responder, supporting individuals and teams following high-impact or traumatic events.
I also offer workplace mediation, helping organisations navigate conflict while maintaining psychological safety and supporting open, constructive communication.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed or carrying more than you feel able to manage alone, you don’t have to go through it by yourself. I offer a safe, confidential space where you can begin to feel more supported and in control.
