About me and my therapy practice
Are you facing change in your life? Perhaps a relationship has ended and you're trying to work out how you feel and how to move forward. Are you in mid life and your children are older and feelings around ageing and purpose have surfaced. Perhaps you're in perimenopause or menopause and you're experiencing a wave of physical and emotional issues that are blocking your wellbeing. Have you retired or experienced loss and are finding it difficult to navigate life? Maybe whatever you're experiencing, it's difficult to share with those around you and you need space to release what you're feeling.
I have helped people that felt exactly like this. Through our work I have seen clients begin to feel confident in making their own decisions, changing aspects of their life, finding it easier to do things that were difficult before or making bigger shifts and fulfilling dreams or ambitions that have been on hold.
Sessions can be held face to face or online. I offer an initial session to allow clients to explore their presenting issues and see how we can work together. My office is in the centre of Worcester and there is a lift available to reach my therapy room if needed.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (ÌÇÐĹÙÍø). This is an organisation which ensures I am practicing safely and ethically.
Practice description
My room for face to face sessions is in Worcester city centre, near to Foregate Street station for clients coming into the city. I also offer counselling sessions via Zoom.
My practice room is warm, comfortable and private providing a safe space to open up and explore your presenting problems.
There is a waiting area in reception where I will come to collect clients for their appointment. There is also a lift if needed.
My first session
After I receive your email, we can book in an assessment session (50 minutes charged at £60). This gives us a chance to talk through your presenting issues and see how we can work together. You will be able to ask me questions about the therapy process and be able to make a decision about whether we are the right fit. It has to be right for you and I need to ensure I am working within my professional competency.
