Availability
I have availability at my private practice between Beaconsfield and High Wycombe. Sessions are available on weekdays with a selection of times available in the evening or on a Saturday morning. I'm happy to work face to face or online. Sessions can be at a fixed time and day of the week or I have a selection of flexible appointments if that is difficult for you.
About me and my therapy practice
Are you or your child feeling anxious, sad, angry or overwhelmed with life. My approach to working with both adults and young people is compassionate, curious, collaborative and trauma informed.
I believe the relationship between you and your therapist is the single most important factor in counselling, without trust and safety very little can change. Our work will be collaborative so together we can figure out what is going on for you and understand how you'd like to life to feel moving forward.
I offer an online or phone chat to answer any questions you may have and to give you a sense of whether you would like to work with me.
Practice description
Many people believe that to start therapy you need a specific issue but in reality many of my clients have come because they can't articulate what's going on. Some feel anxious, sad, angry or generally overwhelmed with life and some feel they suddenly have less resilience that they used to and don't understand why.
Talking to someone who isn't a friend or family member can be powerful because it provides a safe and confidential place to explore thoughts, feelings and experiences openly and honestly. There is no right or wrong time to ask for help.
Client P said "Counselling has changed my perspective on life and enhanced my relationship with my adult children." Client E said "When I started I had no idea who I was, why I felt the way I did or how to handle the relentless feelings of guilt, sadness, anger and pain. I recognise the person I am today and I am proud of her, it has changed my life."
