Availability

I work Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

I can offer a degree of flexibility to fit around your working schedule or a specific allocated weekly or fortnightly slot. We can discuss what might work best for you and your needs.

About me and my therapy practice

There are times when you can look around at your life and realise something no longer fits. You may feel stuck, emotionally drained, low in confidence, or unsure who you are now after years of focusing on everyone else’s needs.

This can happen after a bereavement or separation, during menopause or midlife, when children grow up and need you less, or after a health scare or other life event changes your sense of direction.

You may be caring, thoughtful and capable, but exhausted from always being the one who copes, gives, adapts or keeps the peace. You might struggle to know what you want, find it hard to set boundaries, or feel disconnected from yourself.

I am an Integrative Counsellor and Coach, and I offer a warm, thoughtful and supportive space where the focus can be on you. Together, we can untangle your wants and needs from others’ expectations, make sense of what is happening, and help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence and self-trust.

I work with self-worth, boundaries, grief and bereavement, menopause, and life transitions. Therapy can help you hear your own voice more clearly and begin building a life that feels more like your own.

Practice description

My approach is warm, relational and gently challenging. I offer a space where you can pause, reflect, and gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your experiences. We will work collaboratively and at a pace that feels right for you.

As an integrative counsellor, I draw from different therapeutic approaches depending on your needs. Counselling can help us explore current difficulties, difficult feelings, and past experiences that may still be affecting life today. Through this process, it is often possible to feel less stuck, more compassionate towards yourself, and clearer about what matters most.

Alongside counselling, I can also draw on coaching where helpful. This can be especially useful when you would like more structure, clarity or support in making changes. Coaching can help you recognise your strengths, think creatively about your future, and take practical steps towards the life you want.

My style is interactive, thoughtful and conversational. I am not the kind of therapist who sits silently in the background. I will engage with you with warmth and humour, helping to build a genuine connection and making sessions feel natural, collaborative and real.

Over time, my hope is that our work helps you view your own life story with kindness and become your own inner coach/counsellor — able to understand yourself more deeply, respond to challenges with greater confidence, and trust your own voice.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a psychology academic in teaching and research. This experience continues to inform my understanding of how people think, feel and change.
