About me and my therapy practice
Life can throw a lot at us — especially when we're trying to figure out who we are, what we want, and where we belong.
You might be navigating the gap between the life you expected and the one you're actually living. Maybe relationships keep bringing up the same painful patterns. Perhaps anxiety has become such a constant background noise that you've forgotten what it feels like to feel settled. Or something from your past is quietly shaping your present in ways you're only beginning to notice.
Whatever's brought you here, you don't have to have it all figured out. You just have to be curious enough to take the next step.
I work with adults of all ages and whatever your life stage, if any of this sounds familiar, I'd love to hear from you.
Practice description
I'm a psychosynthesis counsellor — and if that's a new word to you, don't worry. At its heart, psychosynthesis sees you as more than your problems. It's an approach that's interested in the whole of you: your patterns, your history, your inner life, and the person you're becoming.
Our work together begins with building a real relationship — one where you feel genuinely safe and unhurried. From there, sessions can be quite creative. We might work with imagery, visualisation, or parts work — gently exploring different aspects of yourself to understand what's driving you beneath the surface.
This is not a formulaic approach. I follow your lead, staying attuned to what you need in each session. Some days that might mean sitting with something difficult. Other days it might mean discovering something about yourself that surprises you.
My first session
The first session is an opportunity for us both to get a sense of each other and how we might work together.
I'll ask some questions about your background and what's brought you to therapy, and I encourage you to ask questions too — there's no such thing as too much curiosity at this stage.
Before we meet I'll share my therapeutic contract, so we'll allow time in the session to go through any questions you have about the terms.
The first session can take place in person or online and lasts 50 minutes. The fee is £75.
