I currently have availability for new clients.

I offer online counselling sessions Monday to Thursday, with daytime and evening appointments available. Face-to-face sessions are available on Fridays at Healthworks, Forres.

I am not currently planning any extended periods of leave and will give clients advance notice should this change.

About me and my therapy practice

My background is in Person-Centred Counselling, Mental Health Psychology, NLP Coaching, and complementary and spiritual therapies. I work in an integrative way, combining different approaches depending on your individual needs, circumstances, and goals.

I work with clients aged 16 and over. People come to counselling with me for many different reasons, including anxiety, stress, low mood, relationship difficulties, neurodiversity, identity or personality concerns, grief, trauma, loss of confidence, and professional, business, personal or spiritual questions.

If you are considering counselling, you may be struggling with similar issues, or feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward, or find yourself repeating the same patterns, questioning your decisions, struggling in relationships, or feeling that life has become harder than it needs to be or can feel much easier and lighter and more fulfilling.

I am glad you are considering help and will be happy to support you. People often tell me that they find me easy to talk to. I create a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can explore whatever is on your mind at your own pace and with a peaceful heart, knowing that you will be met with compassion, honesty, and respect.

Together, we will make sense of your experiences, help you better understand your needs, challenges, strengths, and aspirations, and find a way forward while feeling both supported and empowered.

Practice description

I offer both short-term and long-term counselling, depending on your needs and what you would like to achieve through therapy.

Sessions are 50 minutes long and can take place online or face-to-face. We will work at a pace that feels manageable for you, focusing on what is most relevant and important to your situation.

Some clients seek support for a specific issue, while others use counselling as a space for personal growth, self-exploration, or navigating life changes. My role is not to provide quick answers or tell you what to do, but to help you develop greater understanding, clarity, and confidence in your own decisions.

As a registered member of the ÌÇÐĹÙÍø, I work within its Ethical Framework and engage in regular supervision and continuing professional development to ensure safe and effective practice.

My first session

Finding the right counsellor is important, and I encourage clients to use the first session to consider whether my approach feels like a good fit for their needs. This session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and to explore how we can work together to support you.

We will discuss your current concerns and any goals you may have for therapy. This also gives you the opportunity to ask questions about the counselling process and decide whether you feel comfortable working with me.

You can book your appointment by either contacting me through this page or messaging me on my website. Once we have agreed on the date and time of our first meeting, I will email you a Zoom link for an online session or share directions to the clinic for in-person appointments. I will also ask you to complete a Client Intake Form on my website before our first meeting.
