About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified psychodynamic counsellor and registered member of the ÌÇÐĹÙÍø, offering therapy online and in person (Glasgow).
I work primarily with women — often in midlife and beyond — who may be experiencing a sense of change, uncertainty or dissatisfaction in their lives. Many of the people I work with are used to managing significant responsibilities in their personal or professional lives, yet find themselves feeling unsettled, anxious, low in mood, or disconnected from themselves.
Psychodynamic therapy focuses on understanding how past experiences and unconscious processes influence current thoughts, feelings and relationships. This approach can help bring greater awareness to patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and support deeper and more enduring change.
Alongside my counselling work, I have over 35 years’ experience as an organisational consultant and executive coach. This informs my understanding of workplace dynamics, professional identity and the challenges that can arise across the lifespan.
I aim to offer a thoughtful, containing and non-judgemental space where clients can explore their experiences at their own pace.
Practice description
I offer weekly therapy sessions in a consistent and confidential setting.
My approach is exploratory and relational. We will work together to understand your experiences in greater depth, including patterns in relationships, emotional responses, and aspects of your inner world that may be outside of immediate awareness.

- identity and life transitions (including midlife and menopause)
- relationship difficulties
- longstanding emotional patterns
I offer both short-term and open-ended therapy, with a particular emphasis on longer-term work where appropriate.
My first session
I offer an initial 30-minute session free of charge. This provides an opportunity for you to talk about what brings you to therapy, ask any questions, and consider whether you would like to work together.
If we agree to continue, sessions are usually held weekly at a regular time.
