About me and my therapy practice

Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of who they are becoming. You might be carrying anxiety, struggling in relationships, feeling disconnected from yourself, or noticing patterns that keep repeating no matter how hard you try to change them.

I offer a steady, compassionate space where you can begin to make sense of things, without pressure, and at a pace that feels right for you.

My approach is integrative and relational, meaning I draw from a range of evidence-based therapies and adapt them to your unique needs. Rather than applying a single model to everyone, I am interested in understanding you within the context of your relationships, your history, and your life as a whole.

I see clients face to face in a comfortable, private therapy room in Knowle, Solihull, and also online via secure video so you can access support from wherever feels right for you.

I am a ÌÇÐĹÙÍø Accredited Counsellor and UKCP Trainee Psychotherapist, currently completing an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy. I hold a First Class BA (Hons) in Integrative Counselling and work alongside my private practice as an in-house counsellor within an emergency service.

If something here resonates, please do get in touch. You don't need to have everything figured out. Just a sense that something needs to change is enough.

Practice description

My therapy room is at Greville Court on Knowle High Street in Solihull, a calm, private and welcoming space that I hope feels easy to come to. Online sessions are available via a secure video platform, so if attending from home feels better for you, that works just as well.

Sessions are 50 minutes and usually weekly, though I am always happy to talk about what rhythm suits you best.

I work with adults experiencing all kinds of difficulties including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, low self-esteem, burnout and the effects of painful or difficult life experiences. I have particular experience supporting people who work in high-pressure environments like emergency services and healthcare, where carrying stress and emotional exhaustion can become so normal it stops feeling like something worth getting help for. It is.

Everything we talk about is confidential and I work within the ÌÇÐĹÙÍø Ethical Framework, so your wellbeing is always at the heart of what we do together.

My first session

I offer a free 20-minute consultation before we begin, just a relaxed and informal conversation where you can ask anything you like, share a little about what has brought you here, and get a sense of whether working together feels right. There is no obligation to go ahead afterwards.

If you do decide you would like to, your first session is simply a chance to begin. I won't ask you to follow a structure or fill anything in. We start wherever feels comfortable for you and go from there.

I will ask some background questions gently as we go, not as an interview but just as a natural part of getting to know you and beginning to understand your world. We will also cover the practical side of things like confidentiality and how sessions work, and there will be plenty of space for any questions you have.

Getting the fit right really matters and I would always encourage you to trust how it feels. If after our first conversation you feel at ease and ready to continue, I will be right there with you.
