About me and my therapy practice
About me
What has shaped you doesn’t have to define what comes next.
I’m a UK-trained, ÌÇÐĹÙÍø-accredited Integrative Psychotherapist, Clinical Supervisor and founder of Woodward Wellbeing, offering psychotherapy and counselling in Bristol and online internationally.
I work with adults navigating the complexities of modern life — from ADHD and neurodivergence, anxiety, burnout and chronic stress to relationship difficulties, trauma, addiction and recovery, grief, body image and questions around identity and belonging.
Many of my clients are thoughtful, capable and self-aware. They may understand a great deal about themselves already, yet find that insight alone hasn’t necessarily changed the patterns they repeatedly encounter — in relationships, work, their internal dialogue or the ways they cope.
Before training as a therapist, I worked extensively in health, wellbeing and movement as a coach, movement specialist and facilitator. This experience continues to inform my understanding of the relationship between emotional and embodied experience and the ways our histories can influence how we experience ourselves and relate to others.
Therapy offers an opportunity to explore those connections with curiosity rather than judgement, developing greater understanding, agency and choice in how you move forward.
Practice description
My Approach
My approach is relational, collaborative and integrative, drawing on humanistic, existential and contemporary psychodynamic thinking. My work is trauma-informed and attentive to the relationship between psychological and embodied experience.
Therapy offers a space to understand not only what is happening, but what may sit beneath it — the experiences, relationships and adaptations that have influenced how you respond to yourself and others.
We work at your pace, developing a deeper understanding of your experience and creating greater freedom and choice in how you live and relate.
Areas of Clinical Focus
- ADHD and neurodivergence
- Trauma, addiction and recovery
- Anxiety, burnout, chronic stress and emotional regulation
- Relationships, attachment and couples therapy
- Body image and BDD-related difficulties
- Grief loss and Endings

Clinical Interests
I have a particular interest in the intersections between trauma, neurodivergence, identity and relationships, and how these experiences can influence internal dialogue, self-worth, belonging and the ways we connect with others.
My work with individuals and couples includes exploring relationship and attachment patterns, communication, intimacy, conflict and the ways earlier experiences can influence our relationships in the present.
My clinical experience and continued professional development have developed a strong focus on shame, internalised patterns, body image, grief and loss, while keeping agency and choice central to the work.

About me and my therapy practice
About me & my therapy practice
I’m a UK-trained, ÌÇÐĹÙÍø-accredited integrative psychotherapist, clinical supervisor and founder of Woodward Wellbeing.
I work with adults across a range of concerns, with particular clinical experience in trauma, addiction and recovery, ADHD and neurodivergence, grief and loss, relationships, identity, chronic stress and burnout. I often work with people who are highly capable and self-aware, yet find themselves repeating patterns or ways of coping that no longer fit.
My practice is relational and integrative, informed by humanistic, existential and contemporary psychodynamic thinking. I am trauma-informed, with an awareness of the relationship between psychological experience, the body and nervous-system regulation.
My earlier professional background in health and wellbeing also informs how I work, bringing an understanding of behaviour change and the ways emotional experience can be expressed through our bodies, relationships and everyday lives.
Therapy offers an opportunity to understand these experiences more deeply, develop greater self-trust and create more agency and choice in how you live and relate.

Our Work Together
The therapeutic relationship is central to my practice. I offer an engaged, respectful and inclusive space where we can approach difficult experiences with openness and curiosity, while keeping sight of what you want from therapy.
I work responsively, recognising that people bring different histories, identities, strengths and needs to therapy. Our work is shaped around you rather than a prescribed way of working, with space for both reflection and meaningful change.
Areas of Focus
• Trauma, addiction and recovery
• ADHD and neurodivergence
• Relationship and attachment difficulties
• Grief and loss
• Identity and sense of self
• Body image and BDD-related difficulties
Clinical Focus
I am especially interested in the relationship between trauma, neurodivergence and identity, and the ways our experiences can become internalised through shame, self-belief and the stories we tell ourselves.
My ongoing clinical development also includes the relationship between psychological and physiological experience, including hormonal change and the impact of prolonged stress.
Professional Background
Before qualifying as a psychotherapist, I worked extensively in health and wellbeing as a coach and facilitator, with a focus on behaviour change and motivation. My background in movement, yoga and somatic practice continues to inform my awareness of the relationship between emotional and bodily experience.
My clinical experience spans addiction and recovery services, bereavement organisations, community mental-health settings and private practice. I have also facilitated CBT-informed therapeutic group work with the Body Dysmorphic Disorder Foundation.

About me and my therapy practice
What has shaped you doesn’t have to define what comes next.
I’m a UK-trained, ÌÇÐĹÙÍø-accredited Integrative Psychotherapist, Clinical Supervisor and founder of Woodward Wellbeing, offering psychotherapy and counselling in Brighton and Hove and online internationally.
Before training as a therapist, I worked extensively in health, wellbeing and movement as a coach, movement specialist and facilitator. This experience continues to inform my understanding of the relationship between emotional and embodied experience, identity, body image and the ways we learn to cope.
I work with a diverse range of adults across Brighton and Hove, including people navigating questions around identity, relationships, belonging and life-stage change, alongside those experiencing ADHD and neurodivergence, trauma, anxiety, burnout, addiction and recovery, grief or difficulties around body image and self-worth.
Many of my clients are active, engaged and outwardly functioning well, yet find themselves struggling internally or repeating patterns that no longer serve them. Therapy can offer a space to understand what sits beneath those patterns and explore ways of living and relating that feel more authentic, grounded and sustainable.
My Approach
My approach is relational, collaborative and integrative, drawing on humanistic, existential and contemporary psychodynamic thinking. My work is trauma-informed and attentive to the relationship between psychological and embodied experience.
My practice is inclusive and affirming, recognising that identity, relationships, culture and lived experience can all shape our relationship with ourselves and others.
Therapy offers a space to explore what is happening now alongside the experiences and relationships that may have influenced how you have learned to adapt, cope and connect. We work at your pace, developing greater understanding, agency and choice.

Specialist Experience
I have significant experience working with addiction and recovery, supporting both individuals and family members affected by addiction. My work considers the addictive process alongside the emotional, relational and psychological experiences that may sit beneath it.
I have extensive training and experience in complex greif and bereavement. My approach is informed by the idea than simply ‘moving on’ from grief, we can learn to grow around it — making space for the individual and evolving nature of each person’s experience of loss.
My work with body image and Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) has been further informed through my role as a group facilitator with the Body Dysmorphic Disorder Foundation.

Clinical depth, curiosity and professional development
As an integrative psychotherapist and clinical supervisor, I draw on psychodynamic, relational and humanistic thinking, with attention to what unfolds within the therapeutic relationship and the emotional and relational experience of both client and therapist.
I work relationally and integratively, adapting my approach to different ways of working. I welcome supervisees at all stages of professional development and from a range of therapeutic training backgrounds.
Supervision is a collaborative professional relationship: a space to think openly about your clients, your practice and yourself within the work.
The wider context matters. Identity, difference, culture and social context can all inform the therapeutic and supervisory relationship. Curiosity about our own responses, patterns, vulnerabilities and strengths can deepen our understanding of the work and our capacity to practice well.
About me and my therapy practice
Supporting You in the Work
Therapeutic work can be demanding. Supervision offers space to consider capacity, boundaries and wellbeing alongside the clinical work, supporting both the quality of the work and the person doing it.
Supervision can also extend beyond the client hour to professional identity, further training, career direction and the realities of developing and sustaining a private practice.
I bring clinical experience across trauma, ADHD and neurodivergence, addiction and recovery, grief and loss, identity, relationships and complex presentations.
Supervision is a space to bring the full range of your clinical and professional experience — uncertainty and progress, questions, learning and everything in between.
