About me and my therapy practice

I’m an integrative therapist working with adults of all ages, although much of my work is with young and mid-life professional men and women experiencing challenges such as anxiety, low self-esteem, work stress, perfectionism, burnout, relationship difficulties and major life transitions, including becoming a parent.

Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years working in a commercial environment. This gave me a strong understanding of the pressures that can come with work and the impact that can have on our sense of identity, our relationships and our mental health. 

At the heart of human experience are our relationships with ourselves and with others. The therapeutic relationship is no different and offers a unique way to better understand yourself, your experiences and the way you relate to others. 

Together, we can explore what may be happening beneath the surface, develop a deeper understanding of the challenges you are facing and find a way forward that feels right for you.

Practice description

I am an Integrative Counsellor, which means I draw on a range of therapeutic approaches depending on your individual needs and goals. 

My approach is warm, collaborative and gently challenging. At times, this may involve reflecting on difficult questions and thinking about yourself and your experiences in new ways.

I offer both short-term and open-ended therapy, depending on your needs and what you hope to gain from our work together. Sessions are available in person in Clapham and online.

My first session

Finding the right therapist is important. 

I offer an introductory call before we begin. This gives us the opportunity to discuss what has brought you to therapy, answer any questions you have and get a sense of whether working together feels right.

If you wish to continue, our first session will provide an opportunity to explore your concerns in more depth and think about what you hope to gain from therapy.
