About me and my therapy practice
Hi there, I’m Emma, a qualified therapeutic counsellor, welcome to my page.
I’m passionate about supporting individuals. If you’ve been experiencing anxiety, overwhelm, or a sense of losing control, you may be looking for a way to feel more grounded and supported. I offer a non-judgmental, safe and compassionate space where you can feel truly heard and understood.
I work integratively, which means I draw on a range of counselling approaches to suit your individual needs. My work includes a psychodynamic perspective, helping us to explore how your current thoughts, feelings, and behaviours may have been shaped by past experiences. I also use a person-centred approach, offering acceptance, honesty, and empathic understanding. Through our work together, you can develop greater self-awareness, resilience, and confidence to move forward in a way that feels right for you.
I am a Level 5 qualified counsellor and a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, and I adhere to their ethical framework for practice.
