About me and my therapy practice
I work with people who have spent so long adapting to pressure, expectations, relationships, or ways of belonging that they no longer recognise themselves in the way they once did.
Often, they have spent years holding things together, fitting in, meeting expectations, or building a life that looks deliberate and well thought through, whilst privately feeling anxious, low, emotionally overwhelmed, judged, exhausted, or lost in ways that are difficult to explain.
Stress, burnout, relationship difficulties, pressure, grief, anxiety, low mood, or long periods of adapting to other people and environments can gradually leave people feeling far away from themselves, their relationships, and their lives.
I can support with:
- Stress and burnout
- Anxiety and low mood
- Emotional overwhelm and exhaustion
- Feeling disconnected from yourself or your life
- Relationship difficulties and repeating patterns
- Pressure, perfectionism, and people-pleasing
- Feeling judged, out of place, or unlike yourself
- Loss, grief, and life transitions
I am a Person-Centred Counsellor and Psychotherapist. I also work from a relational and trauma-informed perspective, recognising how experiences, relationships, and environments shape the way we see ourselves, relate to others, and move through the world.
Counselling and psychotherapy can help people reconnect with parts of themselves that have been shaped, hidden, lost, or carried alone for a long time.
