About me and my therapy practice

Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to read my profile.

Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, especially if you’ve been carrying things on your own for a long time. You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or struggling with anxiety, low mood, or relationships. You might also be living with the impact of past experiences such as trauma, grief, or loss. Whatever you are going through, you don’t have to face it alone.

I offer a safe, calm, and confidential space where you can talk openly and feel truly heard, without fear of judgement. My aim is to help you feel understood and supported as we gently explore what’s been going on for you.

As a qualified and experienced CBT therapist, I work alongside you at your pace. Together, we can begin to make sense of your thoughts, feelings, and patterns, and find ways to move forward that feel manageable and meaningful. Over time, this can support you in building greater clarity, confidence, and hope.

Alongside my private practice, I have worked with local charities supporting individuals affected by bereavement, mental health difficulties, and sexual violence and abuse. This has given me valuable experience working with a range of complex and sensitive issues. I have particular experience supporting individuals who have experienced trauma and abuse, and the lasting impact this can have on self-esteem, relationships, and boundaries.

I have experience supporting clients who are dealing with bereavement and grief, anxiety, depression and low mood, and low self-esteem—particularly where these experiences impact relationships, emotional regulation, and self-worth. I also support clients with anger difficulties and neurodiversity-related challenges.

If you feel I might be the right person to support you, you’re very welcome to get in touch to arrange an initial session or ask any questions.
