About me and my therapy practice

I am an integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor working with individuals and couples in Crystal Palace, South London and online.

You may be feeling overwhelmed, noticing recurring patterns, or navigating a period of change. I provide a safe, respectful and reflective space where we can explore what is important to you at your own pace.

I consider not only your life circumstance and history, but also the wider socio-political and cultural realities that have shaped our lives and those of our ancestors’, as well as issues of oppression and discrimination.

Due to my lived experience, I am interested in questions of identity and belonging. You may identify as a migrant, be part of an intercultural relationship or raise multiheritage children. With a culturally sensitive approach I create a space to gain understanding of you experience with compassion.

My integrative approach draws on Jungian, Gestalt, and Psychodynamic theories, alongside body psychotherapy and ecopsychology, to support your unique journey.

Practice description

I work relationally and believe that supportive therapeutic relationship can offer healing. I also make space and tend to the subtler parts of you, which may offer different ways of understanding your experience.

Sessions may involve various ways of bringing you more fully into self-awareness by working with among other things: memory, imagination, dreams, breath and the body.

In couples therapy, my aim is to create a space where honest and open dialogue is possible. I will identify and work together with couples on existing problems by supporting the development of effective communication and encouraging empathy. Relationship therapy can offer time and space to resolve the repetitive patterns that can sometimes keep couples stuck - in collaboration, you can create a space for connection and intimacy.

I charge £70 per 50-minute session. I offer a limited number of reduced rate places for clients experiencing financial hardship. This is something we can discuss and agree together in the initial session. For couples therapy, I charge £95 per 60-minute session.

My first session

If you are interested in working with me, I suggest we meet for an initial session of 50 minutes, for which I charge my usual fee.

This first session is where we meet, get a sense of each other and whether we wish to work together. You will bring whatever you need to, including questions about how I work and how we may work together.  You may decide you would like another meeting to make up your mind as to whether to commit to a minimum period of 6 weeks.
