About me and my therapy practice
I offer individual therapy, couples therapy and reflective written therapy.
Based in Leamington Spa, I provide a confidential, supportive space where you can slow down, make sense of what is happening in your life, and feel truly heard. My approach is gentle, collaborative and rooted in the belief that lasting change comes through deeper self-understanding rather than being told what to do.
I work with individuals and couples experiencing relationship difficulties, anxiety, trauma, uncertainty and life transitions. I also have a particular interest in supporting women in midlife who are exploring questions of identity, purpose and what feels authentic at this stage of life.
Individual Therapy
Our work focuses on you鈥攜our needs, your pace and your inner wisdom. I believe each person has the capacity for healing and clarity, and my role is to create the conditions where this can emerge.
Couples Therapy
Relationships can be challenging. I offer a supportive space for both partners to improve communication, work through conflict and rebuild connection. Whether you're facing a crisis or simply want to strengthen your relationship, therapy can help you move forward together.
Reflective Written Therapy
If speaking feels difficult, reflective written therapy offers a thoughtful alternative. Instead of live sessions, you write to me once a week and I respond with a carefully considered therapeutic reflection, helping you gain insight, recognise patterns and move forward.
This may suit you if you find it easier to write than talk, need time to process your thoughts, have a busy schedule, prefer asynchronous therapy, or enjoy a quieter, reflective approach.
Each week you send one written reflection (up to an agreed word limit), and I reply within our agreed timeframe. My responses are thoughtful and considered, offering observations, questions and gentle challenges to support your therapeutic journey.

Practice description
My approach is rooted in empathy, professionalism and the belief that effective therapy fosters healing and personal growth.
I offer a warm, compassionate space where you can bring whatever feels heavy, confusing, or uncertain in your life. My way of working is person-centred, which simply means that I see you as the expert on your own experience. My role isn鈥檛 to give advice or tell you what to do, but to walk alongside you 鈥 to really listen, understand and help you connect with the parts of yourself that already know what you need.
I鈥檓 also interested in how our bodies carry and express what we鈥檝e been through. Sometimes our minds are saying one thing, but our bodies tell a different story. Bringing gentle awareness to sensations, breath, and posture 鈥 what鈥檚 often called somatic work 鈥 can help us understand emotions and patterns that words can鈥檛 always reach.
Another influence in my work is Internal Family Systems (IFS). It鈥檚 based on the idea that we all have different 鈥減arts鈥 inside us 鈥 like the anxious part, the part that wants to please others, or the part that just wants to hide. When we get to know these parts with curiosity and care, we often discover they鈥檝e been trying to protect us, even if their ways don鈥檛 always serve us anymore. Learning to listen to them can bring a surprising sense of relief and wholeness.

About me and my therapy practice
I offer reflective written therapy (alongside online and in-person therapy) This page is dedicated to the written therapy work:
Reflective Written Therapy
Sometimes, finding the words in the moment can feel difficult. You may know how you feel, but struggle to say it aloud, or find that your thoughts become clearer once you've had time to reflect.
Alongside face-to-face and online counselling, I offer structured written therapy for adults who prefer to communicate through writing.
Reflective written therapy provides a calm, reflective space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences at your own pace. Rather than meeting for a live session, you write to me once each week and I respond with a carefully considered therapeutic reflection, helping you deepen your understanding, notice patterns and move forward.
This approach may suit you if you:
鈥 find it easier to write than talk
鈥 need time to think before expressing yourself
鈥 have a busy or unpredictable schedule
鈥 prefer the flexibility of asynchronous therapy
鈥 want a quieter, more reflective therapeutic process
How it works
Each week you send one written reflection (up to an agreed word limit), and I will respond with a thoughtful therapeutic reply within our agreed timeframe.
My responses are not rushed. I take time to read, reflect and consider your words carefully before responding, offering observations, questions and gentle challenges to support your therapeutic journey.
Fees
Structured Written Therapy 鈥 拢95 per week
This includes:
鈥 one written reflection from you each week
鈥 one therapeutic written response from me
鈥 an ongoing therapeutic relationship with clear boundaries and agreed response times
Written therapy is not an instant messaging or crisis support service, and we will agree clear communication boundaries before we begin working together.
Practice description
Life can sometimes leave us feeling overwhelmed, stuck or disconnected from ourselves. You may be struggling with anxiety, relationship difficulties, trauma, loss, low self-esteem or simply have a sense that something no longer feels quite right. Whatever has brought you here, therapy offers a space to slow down, be heard and begin making sense of your experiences.
I offer a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental therapeutic relationship where we can explore your thoughts, feelings and patterns at a pace that feels right for you. My approach is integrative but rooted in person-centred training. I draw on different therapeutic approaches to meet your individual needs rather than expecting you to fit a particular model of therapy.
Alongside general counselling, I have a particular interest in supporting women navigating midlife, identity, relationships and life transitions. Together, we'll work towards a deeper understanding of yourself, helping you develop greater self-awareness, self-compassion and the confidence to make meaningful changes where needed.
I offer therapy in person, online and through Reflective Written Therapy. This specialist service is designed for people who find it easier to express themselves through writing or who value the opportunity to reflect before responding. Through structured weekly written exchanges, we build the same therapeutic relationship in a way that offers flexibility while maintaining clear professional boundaries.
Whatever way we choose to work together, my aim is to provide a safe, respectful and collaborative space where you can explore what matters most to you and feel supported in moving towards a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.
My first session
What to expect from your initial written therapy consultation
If you've chosen Reflective Written Therapy, we'll begin with an initial consultation by video or telephone. This is charged at 拢40.
This gives us the opportunity to talk about what has brought you to therapy, what you're hoping to gain from our work together, and whether written therapy is the most appropriate approach for your needs. We'll also discuss any questions or concerns you may have before deciding whether to work together.
If we agree that written therapy is a good fit, we'll establish how we'll work together, including response times, communication boundaries, confidentiality, and what you can expect from our weekly written exchanges.
My aim is to ensure you feel informed, comfortable and confident before we begin. Choosing the right therapist鈥攁nd the right way of working鈥攊s an important part of the therapeutic process, and this consultation gives us both the opportunity to decide whether we're a good fit.
