About me and my therapy practice
You may look like you’re coping on the outside, while quietly carrying the emotional weight of fertility challenges, pregnancy loss, or postnatal change.
I am trained in Transactional Analysis Psychotherapy and I am a member of the ÌÇÐĹÙÍø, BICA (British Infertility Counselling Association) and I have undergone the foundation of infant loss training.
I work in-person from 22 Drumsheugh Gardens in Edinburgh and online.
Practice description
I am a qualified counsellor offering both in-person counselling in Edinburgh and online therapy across the UK, specialising in fertility, IVF, miscarriage, baby loss, pregnancy and postnatal mental health, birth trauma, and chronic women’s health conditions including endometriosis, PCOS, and autoimmune illness.
I work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, identity changes, and emotional distress related to reproductive, perinatal, and maternal experiences.
If you are looking for more structured support, I amoffering a limited number of depth-oriented therapy programmes focused on fertility and reproductive wellbeing (12 weeks, online). I will also be facilitating a small weekly online fertility group. These spaces are intentionally kept intimate to support safety and connection. You are very welcome to join the waitlist.
My first session
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s completely normal to feel unsure before you begin.
A 10-minute introductory call offers a gentle space for us to connect. We can talk through what is bringing you to therapy and explore whether working together feels like the right fit. There is no pressure to make a decision during this call.
If it feels like the right step, we can begin working together, first we have an initial consultation session where I take time to hear your story in more depth, understand what has brought you to counselling, and discuss how we might work together.
Following this, we can begin regular weekly or fortnightly sessions. I typically work in blocks of 12 sessions, after which we review how the therapy is progressing and consider next steps together.
Individual sessions are 50 minutes (£65), and couples sessions are 60 minutes (£80). You can choose to meet online, in person in the West End of Edinburgh, or outdoors in nature if that feels supportive for you. I also run intimate therapeutic fertility groups with 4-6 women who are going through a fertility journey. These are 90 minutes for £50 and run in 12 week blocks.
