About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) offering a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental space for adults and teenagers seeking support with emotional and psychological difficulties.
I understand that reaching out for therapy can feel daunting, particularly when you have been coping alone for a long time. My aim is to create a safe and collaborative environment where you feel heard, understood, and able to explore your experiences at your own pace.
My approach is primarily CBT-based and trauma-informed, recognising how past experiences can impact thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and relationships. Together, we can explore unhelpful patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and build practical tools to support emotional wellbeing and resilience.
I work with a range of issues including anxiety, low mood, stress, trauma, self-esteem difficulties, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions. When working with teenagers, I aim to provide a calm and approachable space where they feel comfortable expressing themselves openly and without judgement.
I believe therapy should feel supportive, compassionate, and empowering. Whether you are looking for help with a specific challenge or seeking longer-term personal growth, I will work alongside you to help you better understand yourself and move towards meaningful and lasting change.
Practice description
I offer a supportive, compassionate, and non-judgemental therapeutic space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences safely and at their own pace. My practice is grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and informed by a trauma-aware approach, recognising the impact that past experiences can have on emotional wellbeing, relationships, and day-to-day life.
I work with adults and teenagers experiencing a range of difficulties, including anxiety, low mood, stress, trauma, emotional overwhelm, self-esteem difficulties, and life transitions. I understand that every person’s experiences are unique, which is why I aim to tailor sessions to individual needs and goals.
In therapy, we may explore how thoughts, emotions, behaviours, and physical responses are connected, while developing practical tools and coping strategies to support positive change. Alongside CBT techniques, I place importance on building a trusting therapeutic relationship where clients feel heard, respected, and supported.
My approach is collaborative and paced according to what feels manageable for you. I believe therapy should not feel overwhelming or judgemental, but instead offer a space for reflection, understanding, growth, and emotional resilience.
I offer sessions online/in person and welcome clients seeking both short-term focused work and longer-term therapeutic support.
My first session
The first session is an opportunity for us to explore what has brought you to therapy and what you would like support with. I understand that starting therapy can feel daunting, so I aim to create a calm, supportive, and non-judgemental environment where you can feel comfortable talking at your own pace.
During the initial session, we will discuss your current difficulties, relevant background information, and what you hope to gain from therapy. I may ask some assessment-style questions to help build a clearer understanding of your experiences and to ensure that the support offered is appropriate for your needs.
This session also gives you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have about therapy, how I work, and what ongoing sessions may look like. Together, we can consider whether we feel like a good therapeutic fit and discuss possible goals for our work together.
Where appropriate, I may introduce some initial coping strategies or CBT-based tools during the first session to help begin supporting you straight away.

About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) offering supportive, collaborative, and reflective supervision to trainee and qualified counsellors and therapists.
My approach to supervision is grounded in creating a safe, respectful, and non-judgemental space where supervisees feel able to explore their client work openly, reflect on challenges, and develop confidence within their practice. I value the supervisory relationship as an important part of ethical and effective therapeutic work, and I aim to provide a balance of support, encouragement, professional curiosity, and constructive challenge.
My therapeutic work is primarily CBT-based and trauma-informed, and this also informs my supervision practice. I recognise the importance of considering how trauma, attachment, and relational experiences can impact both clients and therapists within the therapeutic process.
I work with adults and young people experiencing a range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, low mood, stress, trauma, self-esteem difficulties, and emotional overwhelm. Alongside clinical work, I am passionate about supporting therapists in developing their skills, reflective practice, professional identity, and self-awareness.
I welcome supervisees from a range of backgrounds and levels of experience and aim to adapt supervision to individual learning styles, professional needs, and stages of development.
Practice description
I offer a supportive and collaborative supervision space for trainee and qualified counsellors and therapists. My aim is to create an environment where supervisees feel safe to reflect openly on their clinical work, explore challenges, develop confidence, and strengthen their professional practice.
My supervision approach is informed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed practice, while remaining responsive to the individual needs, experience, and therapeutic modality of each supervisee. I value the importance of reflection, curiosity, ethical awareness, and self-care within therapeutic work, and I encourage supervisees to explore both client processes and their own responses within the therapeutic relationship.
I believe effective supervision should provide a balance of support, encouragement, accountability, and constructive challenge. Alongside discussing client work and clinical interventions, supervision can also offer space to consider professional development, boundaries, confidence, workload pressures, and the emotional impact of therapeutic practice.
I work with therapists supporting adults and young people across a range of presenting difficulties, including anxiety, low mood, stress, trauma, emotional overwhelm, and self-esteem difficulties.
My approach is warm, approachable, and non-judgemental. I aim to adapt supervision to the individual supervisee, recognising that each practitioner brings their own strengths, experiences, and learning needs.
Supervision sessions are available online/in person and can be arranged on a short-term or ongoing basis depending on your professional requirements.
My first session
ÌÇÐĹÙÍø
The first supervision session provides an opportunity for us to explore your current practice, professional needs, and what you are hoping to gain from supervision. I aim to create a supportive, collaborative, and non-judgemental environment where you feel comfortable discussing your client work, strengths, challenges, and areas for development openly.
During the initial session, we may discuss your therapeutic approach, current caseload, experience level, professional requirements, and any particular areas where you would like additional support or reflection. We will also explore how we might work together and whether the supervisory relationship feels like a good fit for your needs.
I recognise that each supervisee is different, and I aim to tailor supervision to your stage of development, learning style, and professional goals. Alongside clinical discussion, there is also space to consider ethical practice, self-care, confidence, workload pressures, and the emotional impact of therapeutic work.
The first session also allows time for any questions you may have about how I work, supervision expectations, confidentiality, record keeping, and ongoing arrangements.
