About me and my therapy practice
As a qualified integrative psychotherapist and coach, I offer a compassionate, non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences at your own pace. My approach is flexible and tailored to you, drawing on CBT, DBT, Person-Centred Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, mindfulness and coaching to support insight, emotional wellbeing and practical change.
I believe the therapeutic relationship is central to healing and growth. I work collaboratively, creating a safe and respectful space where you can feel heard, understood and able to explore what is happening without pressure or judgement.
I support adults experiencing depression, low mood, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, trauma, relationship difficulties, or a sense of feeling stuck. I also have experience working with complex mental health and neurodivergence, including EUPD/BPD, Autism, ADHD and emotional regulation difficulties.
Many of the people I work with feel overwhelmed, misunderstood or caught in repeating patterns. Together, we can explore where these patterns come from, how past experiences continue to affect you, and what may help you feel calmer, more confident and more in control of your life.
My work is trauma-informed, holistic and mindful of the connection between thoughts, emotions, relationships and the body. I also support clients from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds, including those of mixed heritage or those exploring identity and belonging. I approach these experiences with sensitivity, curiosity and respect.
Alongside therapy, I can incorporate coaching when helpful, supporting you to clarify goals, build motivation and turn insight into meaningful action. My aim is to help you develop self-understanding, resilience and confidence, and move towards a life that feels more balanced, purposeful and your own.
Practice description
I offer a warm, welcoming and supportive space where you can explore your emotions, thoughts and life experiences at your own pace. Whether you are dealing with stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, or simply feeling stuck, my aim is to help you understand yourself more deeply and begin making meaningful, lasting changes.
My approach is integrative, drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Person-Centred Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, mindfulness and coaching. This allows me to tailor our work to your individual needs, preferences and goals, rather than expecting one approach to suit everyone.
I have experience supporting people with trauma, complex mental health difficulties and neurodivergence, including EUPD/BPD, Autism and ADHD. In everyday terms, I often work with people who feel emotionally overwhelmed, misunderstood, or caught in patterns that are difficult to change. Together, we can develop greater emotional balance, self-acceptance and practical ways of coping.
I also work with people from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds, including those of mixed or multi-heritage identities. I understand that culture, identity and belonging can shape emotional wellbeing, relationships and how we see ourselves. I approach these experiences with curiosity, empathy and cultural sensitivity.
My work is collaborative, trauma-informed and holistic. I aim to create a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where you feel heard and supported. We will work at a pace that feels right for you, building trust, recognising your strengths and developing tools that can support you both during and beyond therapy.
My goal is to help you move forward with greater clarity, confidence, resilience and self-awareness.
My first session
During our first session, I aim to create a comfortable and safe space where you can talk openly about what has brought you to therapy and what you hope to achieve. This first meeting gives us the opportunity to get to know each other, explore your current challenges, hopes and goals, and discuss any questions you may have about how therapy works.
We will spend time talking about your background, what has led you to seek support, and any immediate concerns you would like to focus on. I will explain how I work, the therapeutic and coaching approaches I draw from, and how we can shape our sessions around your individual needs.
You are welcome to share any goals, preferences or areas of focus at any stage of our work together. There is no pressure to cover everything in the first session; we will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
The fee for the first session is the same as for all subsequent sessions. My aim is to help you feel at ease, informed and confident about the process, so you can decide whether I am the right therapist for you.
At the end of the session, we can discuss the next steps, including how often we might meet and the direction our work could take to support your emotional wellbeing, personal growth and resilience.
