Availability
I offer sessions in person and online via Zoom, WhatsApp, FaceTime, and telephone, as well as walk-and-talk therapy.
I also offer a free 20-minute consultation (online or by telephone). This is an opportunity for us to discuss what you are looking for, what you hope to gain from counselling, and whether I feel like the right fit for you. It is not a full session, but a chance to ask questions and consider next steps.
Everything you share with me will be treated in confidence.
I have a limited number of reduced-fee spaces available—please feel free to ask.
About me and my therapy practice
Hello, and a warm welcome.
I am a qualified counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (ÌÇÐĹÙÍø). I work as a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor, drawing on Person-Centred Therapy, Gestalt, and Transactional Analysis.
I have a particular interest in working with overthinkers, neurodivergent clients, relationships, anxiety and depression, offering a supportive space to better understand your experiences and develop ways of navigating the world that feel more manageable.
I aim to offer a space that feels warm, supportive, and grounded in genuine human connection. I value being approachable, accountable and reliable, and I bring both my professional training and personal life experience, which I hope will inform my work and make it more helpful.
Life can feel overwhelming at times—especially when we find ourselves overthinking, holding things in, or feeling unsure how to move forward. You may be reflecting on the past, trying to understand the present, or questioning what comes next. At times, this can lead to feeling stuck, disconnected from yourself, or unsure of what you need.
Counselling offers a space to pause and explore your experiences in a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental environment. Together, we can reflect on your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, fears, losses, and negative patterns, helping you to make sense of your experiences and move towards meaningful change.
My role is to support you in developing self-awareness, building resilience, and finding a way forward that feels right for you.
Practice description
I work in an integrative and flexible way, adapting my approach to meet your individual needs. What works for one person may not work for another, so I will find a way of working that feels supportive and effective for you.
At the heart of my practice is the therapeutic relationship. I place strong emphasis on empathy, trust, respect, and genuineness, creating a space where you feel heard, understood, and able to explore openly.
I aim to understand your unique experiences—your relationship with yourself, others, and the world around you—and to support you in exploring the challenges you may be facing at your own pace.
Much of my work is grounded in deep listening—hearing not only your words, but the feelings behind them. My experience is that when someone feels truly heard, meaningful therapeutic change can begin.
I welcome and respect the diversity of each person’s background, values, and beliefs, and I aim to offer a space that is inclusive and responsive to your individual identity and experience.
As a registered member of the ÌÇÐĹÙÍø, I work in line with their ethical framework and attend regular supervision to support safe and effective practice.
My first session
I understand that choosing a counsellor can feel like a big step. Building a sense of connection and trust is central to the work we will do together.
Research shows that the quality of the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important factors in successful outcomes. Feeling heard, understood, and safe enough to speak openly is key.
If you decide to go ahead, we will usually begin with 60-minute weekly sessions. I am willing to work with you for as few or as many sessions as we agree are appropriate
Some people prefer short-term work, while others choose longer-term support. We can also adjust the frequency of sessions to suit your needs over time.
We will review your goals as we go, and you are free to continue for as long as it feels helpful.
You are under no obligation to continue and can end counselling at any point.
