About me and my therapy practice
At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship itself. I believe that change happens in connection, through a space where you can begin to notice your patterns safely, without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. Over time, this can support greater self-awareness, confidence, and trust in your own experience.
Therapy is not only about understanding difficulties, but also about noticing how they show up in the present moment, including within the therapeutic relationship. This can help us gently explore long-standing patterns and begin to shift what no longer feels helpful.
Alongside this relational focus, I draw on my background in physical therapy, which brings an awareness of the connection between mind and body. Emotional experiences can show up physically as tension, shutdown, restlessness, or disconnection. We can gently explore this as part of supporting regulation and integration.
Practice description
ÌÇÐĹÙÍø
I’m a qualified and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (ÌÇÐĹÙÍø), and I work within their ethical framework to support your safety and well-being. I offer a steady, grounded space where you can begin to make sense of what’s going on at your own pace.
I’ve worked across the NHS, private practice, and the charity sector, supporting people with a range of emotional and psychological difficulties. A key focus of my work is trauma in relationships, particularly where experiences have impacted self-worth, identity, and emotional safety. My approach is trauma-informed, meaning we work at a pace that feels manageable and stay attentive to how past experiences may be shaping present patterns.
I also work with anxiety in its many forms: overthinking, constant worry, difficulty switching off, or feeling on edge. Together, we explore what’s driving these experiences and how to shift them so they feel less overwhelming. Alongside this, I support women navigating life transitions, helping them process change and reconnect with a clearer sense of self.
As a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor, I tailor my approach to each person. I offer both short- and long-term therapy in a respectful, culturally aware space.
Sessions are available in both English and Italian.
If you have any questions or would like to arrange an initial conversation, please feel free to contact me by phone or email.
My first session
I offer a 20-minute free phone consultation, giving us the chance to meet and for you to ask any questions you may have. The consultation provides the opportunity for both parties to decide if they would like to work together. If we decide to move forward, each session lasts 50 minutes, and you can choose between meeting online (via Zoom) or in person at my North London locations. In our first full session, we will discuss what brings you to therapy and how I can best support you in working towards your goals.
