About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified integrative counsellor offering a warm, compassionate, and confidential space where you can explore whatever is troubling you. I work with adults experiencing a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, low mood, trauma, bereavement, relationship issues, life transitions, illness, and identity concerns.

I believe that being truly heard and understood can be a powerful catalyst for change. My aim is to build a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship where you feel able to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace and without judgement.

As an integrative counsellor, I draw upon a range of therapeutic approaches, including Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, Transactional Analysis, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), tailoring my work to your individual needs.

I have particular experience supporting survivors of domestic abuse, rape, sexual violence, and coercive control, as well as individuals and families affected by bereavement, grief, and loss.

I hold a Foundation Degree in Integrative Counselling, awarded with First-Class Honours and Distinction, and am committed to providing professional, ethical, and compassionate support.

Practice description

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, loss, relationship difficulties, trauma, or simply feeling stuck, counselling can offer a space to pause, reflect, and begin to make sense of what you are experiencing.

I offer a warm, supportive, and non-judgemental environment where you can talk openly about whatever is on your mind. Together, we can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences, helping you gain greater understanding of yourself and the challenges you face.

Many people come to counselling feeling unheard, isolated, or uncertain about how to move forward. My role is not to tell you what to do, but to work alongside you, helping you discover your own strengths, develop new insights, and find a way forward that feels right for you.

I believe that meaningful change begins within a trusting therapeutic relationship where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted.

I offer specialist counselling for individuals affected by trauma, domestic abuse, sexual violence, rape, coercive control, bereavement, and grief.

Experiences of trauma and loss can leave lasting emotional impacts, affecting how we feel about ourselves, our relationships, and our ability to cope with everyday life. You may be experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, feelings of shame, anger, confusion, or a sense of being overwhelmed. Counselling can provide a safe and supportive space to begin understanding and processing these experiences.

My approach is compassionate, sensitive, and paced according to your individual needs. I understand that talking about painful experiences can feel daunting, and I place great importance on creating a therapeutic relationship built on trust, safety, and respect.

My first session

In this session we will assess if counselling is the correct approach for you and take into account any adjustments we need to take into account or further referrals that may be appropriate. We will look at the contract of work together and ensure you fully understand it and are able to ask questions about it or clarifications.
