About me and my therapy practice
Something may no longer feel quite right. Perhaps old patterns aren't working, relationships feel strained, anxiety is taking up more space, or life feels stuck. You may have spent a long time holding things together, but beneath the surface there's a sense that something needs attention.
As an integrative counsellor, I tailor therapy to the individual rather than working from a one-size-fits-all approach. My style is warm, collaborative, and gently challenging. Alongside listening and support, I'll help you notice patterns, make sense of difficult experiences, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your relationships.
Together we might explore anxiety, self-esteem, identity, boundaries, relationships, loss, or life transitions. Therapy can help you move from confusion towards greater clarity, self-awareness, and choice.
I work with adults of all ages, both online and in person, and offer a free initial conversation to see whether we're a good fit.
Practice description
My practice offers a supportive and reflective space to explore what feels difficult, confusing, or stuck. I work with adults who want to better understand themselves, make sense of relationship patterns, and move towards a life that feels more authentic and balanced.
As an integrative counsellor, I tailor therapy to each individual. Sometimes this involves exploring emotions or past experiences; at other times we focus on what is happening in the present, including how you relate to yourself and others and what may be keeping certain patterns in place.
My style is warm, grounded, and gently challenging. Alongside support and reflection, I aim to help you develop greater awareness, make sense of your experiences, and discover new possibilities for change. Therapy can offer a space to pause, gain perspective, and reconnect with what matters most to you.
I work with adults online and in person. Whether you're seeking support with anxiety, self-esteem, relationships, loss, or life transitions, I will meet you where you are and work collaboratively with you at your own pace.
My first session
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and explore what has brought you to therapy.
We'll talk about what is currently happening in your life, any relevant background information, and what you hope to gain from counselling. There is no pressure to share everything at once, and you do not need to prepare anything in advance.
I may ask some questions to help me understand your situation and identify any areas we might focus on together. The session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions about how I work and to consider whether I feel like the right therapist for you.
Towards the end of the session, we'll discuss whether working together feels appropriate and what the next steps might look like. If we decide to continue, sessions are usually held weekly, although some flexibility is available depending on individual circumstances.
