About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified psychodynamic psychotherapist and I offer online therapy to adults across the UK.

Alongside my private practice, I have worked for several years providing psychodynamic therapy within the NHS, and as a listening volunteer with Switchboard, the LGBTQ+ helpline. These experiences have deepened my understanding of the diverse ways people navigate identity, relationships, and belonging.

I have a particular interest in working with LGBTQ+ clients, and with people navigating the pressures of demanding professional environments, including stress, burnout, and questions of meaning and identity in relation to work.

I offer a confidential, non-judgmental space where who you are can be explored with curiosity, respect, and acceptance.

Practice description

My work is psychodynamic, an approach that explores how past experiences and relationships continue to shape the way we see ourselves and relate to others today. By gently bringing unconscious patterns into focus, therapy can open the door to greater self-understanding and lasting change.

Sessions are 50 minutes and take place weekly at a regular time. This consistent rhythm provides a stable, confidential space for exploration. My work is typically open-ended, allowing your needs to guide both the focus and duration of our time together.

I offer online sessions only at present, making therapy accessible wherever you are in the UK.

My practice is welcoming and affirming for people from all backgrounds and life experiences, including LGBTQ+ clients. I hold in mind how factors such as race, culture, class, disability, and religion shape our inner lives, and I aim to provide a space where all of who you are can be explored with curiosity, respect, and acceptance.

My first session

I offer two initial consultation sessions, each 50 minutes, for a combined fee of £100. These sessions give us the opportunity to meet, explore what has brought you to therapy, and get a sense of how we might work together.

If we decide together to proceed with weekly therapy, we will agree a regular weekly time and a fee for ongoing work. Ongoing sessions are 50 minutes long and the fee ranges between £80 and £100 per session, agreed based on your personal circumstances.

I also reserve a limited number of reduced rate spaces for those who would benefit from therapy but are unable to afford the standard rate. Priority is given to students, those on benefits, individuals from marginalised communities, and others experiencing genuine financial hardship. Please get in touch to discuss your situation confidentially.
