About me and my therapy practice

Are you feeling stuck, lost, or unsure of yourself, even when you鈥檙e trying hard to keep things together? You might be struggling with anxiety, low mood, or patterns that keep repeating in your relationships or in how you see yourself. Sometimes the harder we try to push feelings away or 鈥渇ix鈥 them, the more overwhelming they can become.

My approach to therapy isn鈥檛 about quick solutions or getting rid of difficult emotions. Instead, I offer a space where we can slow things down together, exploring your experiences, your story, and the meanings you鈥檝e made along the way. I believe lasting change often comes through understanding ourselves more deeply, rather than fighting against what we feel.

What continues to guide me is the belief that people grow when they feel safe enough to explore honestly and openly, without judgement. In our work together, we may look at how past experiences have shaped the way you relate to yourself and others, question old narratives, and build awareness so difficult feelings feel less controlling and better managed.

I also have a growing interest in working with neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD, autism, or those exploring whether they may be neurodivergent. Rather than seeing neurodiversity as something to be fixed, I aim to understand how you experience the world and shape therapy in a way that feels accessible and supportive.

I work best with people who are open to reflection and curious about themselves, even when that feels uncomfortable. My role is to walk alongside you as you develop a deeper understanding of who you are and what you need, at a pace that feels right for you.

Reaching out can feel like a big step, but you don鈥檛 need to have everything figured out before you begin. I offer a steady, grounded space where we can start to make sense of what you鈥檙e carrying together.

Practice description

My style as a therapist is down to earth. I meet you at your level and work with you at your pace. It鈥檚 a grounded conversation with a touch of realism, a chance to look at what鈥檚 happening and what patterns might be forming. It鈥檚 not about fixing, it鈥檚 about understanding. From there, we can begin to make the change.

My approach as an integrative therapist, draws on a range of approaches including Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, Existential, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), creating a way of working that鈥檚 tailored to you and your experiences. This flexible approach allows us to look at what鈥檚 happening in the present while also exploring how past experiences might still be influencing things today.

I hold a Level 2 qualification in Counselling Skills, a Level 3 糖心官网-accredited Diploma in Counselling Skills and Theory, and a 糖心官网-accredited Degree in Counselling Studies from the University of East London. In addition, I have completed Mental Health First Aider training and have undertaken Place2Be workshops focused on working with children and young people. My work has encompassed helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, low self-esteem, attachment and abandonment issues, as well as loss, bereavement, and family-related dementia concerns.


My first session

Our first session is a chance for us to begin getting to know each other and to build a clearer picture of what鈥檚 bringing you to therapy. I use a detailed onboarding process that looks at different areas of your life, including your background, current challenges, emotional wellbeing, medical history, lifestyle, and the ways you are currently coping. This can feel more structured than later sessions, but the intention is to understand you as a whole person rather than focusing only on symptoms. By exploring your past experiences, what鈥檚 happening for you now, and what you hope to gain from therapy, we can begin to shape a way of working that feels tailored to your needs and aligned with your goals.
