At the heart of my approach is understanding and compassion, complemented by a strong belief in the transformative power of empathy and acknowledgement. I believe that seeing the world from a clients’ perspective can foster meaningful growth and change. My goal is to provide support that empowers individuals to overcome life challenges and discover their unique path to wellness.

About me and my therapy practice
About Me
I'm Teresa Lewis, a counsellor registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (ÌÇÐĹÙÍø), offering warm, confidential counselling in Market Harborough and online across the UK.
I offer a calm, non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and feel genuinely listened to. Everyone who comes to see me is different, so I don't take a one-size-fits-all approach. I take time to understand you and what you're going through, and we work at a pace that feels right for you.
I support adults, couples and young people with a range of difficulties, including anxiety, stress, low mood and depression, bereavement and loss, relationship problems, low self-esteem and life changes. Whether you're looking to talk things through, make sense of the past or find practical ways to cope, I'm here to help.
Practice description
My practice is based in a comfortable, private setting in central Market Harborough, and I also offer sessions online by video and by telephone for those who prefer to meet remotely.
Sessions last 60 minutes. I offer a free 30-minute initial consultation so we can talk things through with no obligation and you can see whether I feel like the right fit for you. Taking the first step can feel daunting, and there's no pressure. Whenever you feel ready, I'm here.
My first session
The first step is a free 30-minute consultation, either in person, by video or over the phone. It's a relaxed, no-obligation chance for us to talk about what's brought you to counselling and what you're hoping for, and for you to ask any questions. There's no commitment to book further sessions, and it simply helps us both see whether we're a good fit to work together.
