About me and my therapy practice

Less overthinking. Greater confidence. A different relationship with anxiety.

Maybe overthinking has become such a familiar part of life that switching off feels challenging. We might replay conversations, second-guess decisions, worry about getting things wrong or find ourselves constantly thinking about what might happen next. Over time, anxiety and overthinking can feel exhausting and may begin to affect our confidence and ability to trust our own judgement.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, including high-functioning anxiety, overthinking and self-doubt. Rather than simply trying to get rid of anxiety, together we can begin to understand what might be driving it, explore the patterns and experiences that may sit underneath it, and develop different ways of responding to ourselves when anxiety shows up. Over time, this can help us feel more confident in ourselves, trust our own judgement and feel better able to navigate life's challenges.

I also work with depression, stress and burnout, low self-esteem, identity and belonging, relationship difficulties and trauma. I'm an integrative psychotherapist and counsellor offering online therapy in Whetstone. I work with adults aged 18 and over and offer both short-term and longer-term, open-ended therapy.

Practice description

I am an integrative psychotherapist, drawing on psychodynamic therapy, mindful awareness, somatic psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and trauma-informed approaches.

My work goes beyond simply managing anxiety and overthinking. Together, we can explore what keeps your mind and nervous system on alert, including patterns such as self-doubt, people-pleasing, second-guessing yourself and finding it difficult to switch off. We may also look at earlier experiences and relationships to understand how these patterns developed and why they may still be showing up today.

I help you understand what's happening beneath your anxiety and why familiar patterns may keep showing up. Together, we explore different ways of responding, so that rather than anxiety having such a strong say in how you live your life, you can begin to trust yourself, feel more confident in your own judgement and move through life with a greater sense of self-belief.

My first session

Reaching out for therapy can sometimes feel like a big step, particularly if you're not quite sure where to begin or what you want to say.

I offer a free 15-minute consultation where we can briefly talk about what has brought you to therapy, what you're looking for and whether I might be the right person to support you.

If we decide to work together, our first session gives us more time to explore what's been happening for you and what you would like from therapy. You don't need to arrive with everything worked out or know exactly where to start. We can begin with whatever feels most important to you.

I offer both short-term and longer-term, open-ended therapy, depending on what you're looking for and what emerges through our work together.
