How I work
I believe that therapy should fit the person, not the other way around. Instead of following a rigid script, I draw from a variety of different therapeutic tools to support you. This means our sessions are uniquely tailored to who you are and what you are going through.
- CBT can help you understand patterns in your thoughts and behaviours, and develop practical tools for managing anxiety, stress, and difficult emotions.
- Humanistic therapy offers a warm, relational space where you can explore your feelings, values, and sense of self without judgement.
- Psychodynamic therapy helps uncover how past experiences and relationships may still be influencing how you feel, react, and relate to others today.

Who I work with
I work with adults who are finding life difficult for many different reasons. I have a particular interest in working with trauma and Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Autism and ADHD, addiction and recovery, and men’s mental health. These experiences are often misunderstood or minimised, which can leave people feeling judged, dismissed, or alone. Therapy can offer a space where your experience is taken seriously and understood.
Training and qualifications
I am a qualified individual member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and a psychotherapist with a First Class Honours Bachelor of Science in Counselling and Psychotherapy. Sessions are one hour each week, available online or by telephone worldwide, with in-person options in Cornwall.

Sessions are only one hour each week, available online or by telephone worldwide, with in person options in Cornwall. A free initial consultation is also available to help you decide whether the fit feels right.

Therapy shaped around you:
Everyone experiences and describes their feelings differently, so therapy needs to move with you in real time rather than fit you into boxes. My training allows me to work in a way that is shaped around what each person is struggling with, rather than using a one size fits all approach. For some, that may mean exploring how the past or earlier relationships have shaped the way they see themselves and others. For others, it may involve understanding how trauma continues to keep them stuck, or finding new ways of coping that feel healthier and more supportive over time.
Who I work with:
I work with adults who may be finding life difficult for many different reasons. Some come to therapy with clear reasons for seeking support, while others simply know that something does not feel right and want somewhere to begin exploring it.
I have a specialist interest in working with trauma, including CPTSD, as well as autism, ADHD, addiction and recovery, and men’s mental health. These experiences are often misunderstood by society, and sometimes by friends and family too, which can leave people feeling judged, dismissed, or alone.
Training and qualifications:
I am a qualified MÌÇÐĹÙÍø counsellor and psychotherapist with a BSc (Hons) in Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I continue to develop my practice through ongoing professional development to ensure my work remains current, ethical, and informed.

My first session
Your first session is a chance to slow things down and begin making sense of what has been happening. We will talk about what is bringing you to therapy, what you are finding hardest right now, and what you would like to be different. You do not need to have the right words. You can bring whatever you have, and we will work it out together at your pace.
We will also agree how we will work together, including boundaries, confidentiality, and what you can expect from sessions. If it helps, you are welcome to start with a free initial consultation before booking a first session, so you can ask questions and decide whether I am the right therapist for you.
