I offer online and in-person therapy from my practice in Oxford.
About me and my therapy practice
I offer therapy for people who feel stuck in patterns they can鈥檛 seem to shift, especially if you鈥檝e already spent a lot of time trying to understand yourself.
You might find yourself overthinking, going round in circles, struggling with anxiety, low self-worth, relationship difficulties, or feeling disconnected from yourself or others. Sometimes people come to therapy knowing why they feel the way they do, but still finding that nothing really changes.
How I work
My approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and more active than simply sitting and talking.
I won鈥檛 just sit and nod, but I also won鈥檛 push you faster than you鈥檙e ready for. Together, we explore what鈥檚 going on beneath the surface, look at patterns in how you think and relate, and work towards meaningful change at a pace that feels manageable.
I鈥檓 an integrative therapist, which means I draw from different approaches depending on what鈥檚 helpful for you. My work is grounded in person-centred therapy which means I start from a position of understanding you as an individual. I also incorporate Transactional Analysis to help understand how you relate to people and ACT/CBT-based approaches to find new approaches.
People often describe my style as warm, honest, conversational, and gently challenging when needed.
I aim to create a space where you feel properly heard, while also helping therapy move somewhere, not just insight but change.
Practice description
My approach sits somewhere between open-ended exploration and practical change-focused work.
I believe feeling understood matters, but I also think therapy should help you move forward. Sessions are conversational and collaborative, with space for reflection, curiosity, challenge, and practical thinking where helpful.
You don鈥檛 need to arrive knowing exactly what鈥檚 wrong or what you want to say. We work it out together.

I鈥檓 an integrative therapist, which means I draw from different approaches depending on what鈥檚 helpful for you. My work is grounded in person-centred therapy, while also incorporating Transactional Analysis and ACT/CBT-based approaches.
In practice, this means therapy can involve:
- exploring patterns and past experiences
- developing greater self-understanding
- learning practical ways to respond differently to difficult thoughts and emotions
People often describe my style as warm, honest, conversational, and gently challenging when needed.

My first session
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially if you鈥檙e unsure what to expect or whether therapy is right for you.
The first session is a chance for us to begin getting to know each other and to explore what鈥檚 brought you to therapy. You don鈥檛 need to prepare anything in particular or have everything worked out beforehand.
We鈥檒l usually talk about:
- what鈥檚 been going on for you recently
- any patterns, difficulties, or concerns you鈥檙e struggling with
- what you hope might change or feel different through therapy
- any previous experiences of therapy, if relevant
There鈥檚 no pressure to share everything straight away. We go at a pace that feels manageable for you.
The first session is also an opportunity for you to get a sense of how I work and whether it feels like a good fit. My approach is collaborative and conversational, so rather than simply sitting silently, I may ask questions, share observations, or gently explore patterns with you where helpful.
Some people leave the first session feeling relieved to have spoken openly. Others may leave with new perspectives or things to reflect on. There鈥檚 no 鈥渞ight鈥 way to experience it.
Most importantly, the first session is about creating a space where you can begin to feel heard, understood, and able to explore what鈥檚 going on without judgment.
