Availability

I offer in-person sessions Monday to Thursday mornings (up until 13:30), Monday evenings and online sessions Monday to Friday at flexible times.

About me and my therapy practice

I offer a warm, supportive space online or in-person where you can bring whatever feels difficult or overwhelming. Whether you’re experiencing anxiety, low mood, stress, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, painful memories, or feeling stuck, we can take time to explore what’s going on together at your pace.

We can hold misconceptions about who might seek therapy, imagining a certain type of person. The truth is that any of us can encounter challenges that are hard to navigate. These might stem from our own vulnerabilities, a painful or confusing relationship, or the illness or loss of a loved one. Anger or depression may take hold, or we might find ourselves overwhelmed by anxiety and stress. Making space to explore what’s been affecting your mood, your relationships, and your day-to-day life can help you feel more connected with yourself and with the people who matter to you.

If you’re considering counselling, you’re welcome to get in touch to arrange a session or a free 10-15 minute introductory call to see how we might work together.

Practice description

I use an integrative approach, keeping in mind that no two people are the same, so I don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach. I draw from a range of therapeutic models to shape the therapy around you, with Person-Centred Therapy at the core.

My first session

Our first session can focus on creating an understanding as to what you would like to gain from counselling, and how we can work together to create a space that feels right for you. I’ll invite you to share what’s brought you here, but there’s no pressure to open up more than you feel comfortable with.

This session is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions and get a feel for whether my approach aligns with what you’re looking for. Most importantly, it’s about ensuring you feel heard, understood and at ease in our initial session together.
