Welcome to my practice.
Do you feel stuck, drained, emotionally unavailable, or even resentful toward others, toward life, and ultimately toward yourself?
Perhaps it's affecting your relationships, your self confidence, or a sense of who you are beyond family and work?
From the outside, it looks like you're holding things together, the family, the career and responsibilities, but you sense something isn't quite right. Maybe it's the anxiety that won't switch off or the self-doubt that undermines your confidence. These feelings often carry a heavy burden associated with mood swings and you telling yourself it's just how life is. Such lived experiences will be looked at in terms of your past and present circumstances.
I work with individuals and professionals struggling with anxiety, depression, low self esteem, burnout and relationship difficulties.
My approach is relational, which means our sessions are collaborative. I will work at your pace so you don't feel rushed and provide you with support and guidance through your therapy journey. My aim is to listen attentively and create a space where you feel safe enough to talk about what's really going on.
I also bring a culturally aware approach to my work, meaning I actively consider that your background, culture, family expectations and lived experiences may shape how you experience stress, relationships and mental health and how easy or hard it feels to reach out for help. I also give space to reflect on faith and spirituality where that's helpful to you.
If you're feeling hopeless, exhausted or confused. That might be because you've been carrying too much for too long and if this resonates, I might just be the therapist for you.
I have availability for both online and face to face sessions on Monday to Friday (morning, afternoon and evening). I am also flexible enough to work around your availability which might include having sessions at the weekend.
Concessionary rates are offered depending on slots available.

I am a qualified integrative counsellor and psychotherapist. I have worked within NHS Talking Therapies, which gives me vast experience across a wide range of presentations and backgrounds. I also hold a ÌÇÐĹÙÍø certificate in online and telephone counselling.
My approach is integrative, which means that I don't believe in a one size fits all approach. This style enables me work with different modalities to address your unique needs, goals and circumstances. My core belief is that most human beings have an instinctive desire to love and be loved and when this is missing, emotional disturbances may occur.
Clients often describe me as a steady guide, warm and practical.
My primary way of working is Psychodynamic, which means we'll explore how your past experiences, particularly early attachment relationships, may be shaping your present feelings and patterns. To build trust, sessions are centred around a Person-centred approach, which means our relationship is a key factor that's based on mutual respect and acceptance to provide psychological safety.

I provide counselling for short-term work and is typically solution-focused, helping you develop strategies for current challenges or life transitions. I also offer longer-term psychotherapy to address deeper, complex emotional patterns that may come from trauma.
We will work at your pace to ensure you don't feel rushed and review sessions regularly to check in with you.

My first session

I offer a free 20-minute consultation by phone or online. This is a chance to talk about what's brought you to therapy, ask any questions and see if we're a good fit. There's no pressure and no commitment, just an informal conversation to see how therapy can work to help you feel joy again and reconnect with yourself.
If after that, we decide to work together, our first full session will be to talk about your therapy goals and to provide a safe space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviour patterns and work towards healing and lasting change.
I would suggest an initial block of 6 to 12 sessions which can be reduced or increased. The choice is yours and you are free to stop therapy when you decide. Clients who have suffered trauma, may require longer term therapy.
