Availability
Update: Contact me to join my wait list - availability likely to open up during summer.
My approach is all about giving people realistic options to access therapy, not all of us can afford or have the luxury of flexible working schedules, child-care, or energy levels to come weekly.
So, with me you can:
- come weekly
- come fortnightly
- come for a 'one off' session
- come online
- come in person
- whatever fits your life right now is fine!
About me and my therapy practice
Hey, I鈥檓 Heidi.
I'm a licensed psychotherapist, dog lover, music fanatic (real music, none of this Spotify AI playlist nonsense), a mum, and proudly queer.
I help people who feel stuck in their own inner messiness to gently untangle it, find clarity, and embrace their whole self.
Unfiltered, real, and wonderfully human.
I am based in South Birmingham but also work online.
I highly recommend visiting my website for a better sense of who I am and the type of support I offer.

Let me guess, you've spent ages on 'find a therapist' pages, scrolling and hoping something just feels right, not really knowing what you're looking for (other than someone within your budget, location, and maybe with a friendly picture... am I right?).
I get it. I've been there too, so I'm glad you've landed here.
I'm a qualified and registered psychotherapist with 10 years' experience across the NHS, education settings, the private sector, family centres, and therapeutic communities. I've supported adults, parents, teens, and little ones through all sorts of challenges and life stages.
My practice is relationship-centred, creative, and flexible.
I draw from different therapeutic approaches depending on the person in front of me, because I don't believe there is a one-size-fits-all way of doing therapy.
Some people need space to talk, some need help making sense of patterns, and others benefit from more creative ways of exploring their experiences.
What matters most to me is creating a space where you don't feel judged, analysed, or expected to have it all figured out.
Just two humans, making sense of things together.
If something here resonates, I'd love to chat. Just drop me a message and we can take it from there.

My work with children and teens involves close collaboration with parents and carers. We鈥檒l discuss what this looks like during the initial consultation.
My first session
1. Reach out
- Starting therapy can feel daunting, so I like to keep the first steps simple and low-pressure.
- Send me a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
2. Initial consultation
- A free 20-minute online chat.
- A chance to talk about what's bringing you to therapy.
- An opportunity to ask questions and see if we feel like a good fit.
- No pressure to share more than feels comfortable.
3. First session & planning together
- A relaxed and informal first meeting.
- No lengthy questionnaires or pressure to share your whole life story.
- We'll begin exploring what's brought you to therapy.
- Together we'll identify some themes to help guide our work.
4. Therapy begins
- And now we get into it.
- We start exploring things in greater depth, at a pace that feels right for you.
- Sometimes we'll focus on the present, sometimes we'll make sense of the past.
- We stay curious, collaborative, and focused on what feels most important to you.
Therapy isn't just about finding someone qualified. It's about finding someone you feel safe with.
