About me and my therapy practice
I’m a Psychologist, Integrative Psychotherapist, Author and Clinical Supervisor, with over 20 years of experience working in mental health across the NHS, private practice and organisational settings.
In private practice, I work with people from a wide range of backgrounds, including military personnel, senior leaders, clinicians, actors, parents and people navigating periods of anxiety, uncertainty, change or difficulty. Alongside my clinical work, I run a wellbeing consultancy and deliver keynote talks on resilience, mental health, leadership and culture.
I work with adults and young people individually, as well as with couples. My approach is integrative, collaborative and person-centred. Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I draw on different therapeutic models depending on what you are experiencing and what you would like to change.
I aim to provide a non-judgemental space where you can talk openly, feel heard and make sense of what is happening. I will listen carefully and reflect with you, while also asking thoughtful and at times gently challenging questions. Therapy can involve developing practical tools, exploring patterns and past experiences, understanding emotions and relationships, and experimenting with new ways of responding.
You may come to therapy to understand something that keeps happening, manage difficult thoughts or feelings, improve a relationship or make a change
Some of the areas I commonly work with include:
- Anxiety, panic attacks, OCD and stress
- Low self-esteem, confidence and self-worth
- Depression, low mood and emotional numbness
- ADHD, autism and neurodiversity
- Burnout, work-related stress, procrastination and perfectionism
- Trauma, bereavement, loss and PTSD
- Addiction, compulsive behaviours and substance use
- Anger, impulsivity and difficulties regulating emotions
- Relationship and family difficulties
- Intimacy, sex, trust and jealousy
- Experiences of abuse, assault, victimisation and discrimination
- Identity, life transitions, meaning and purpose
Practice description
I am a ÌÇÐĹÙÍø-accredited Integrative Psychotherapist with an Advanced Diploma in Contemporary Psychotherapy, over ten years of therapeutic experience, and more than twenty years working across mental health and wellbeing.
I have worked within the NHS, schools, higher education, the military and private practice, supporting people with a wide range of emotional, relational and psychological difficulties. Alongside my therapy practice, I am also a qualified clinical supervisor and support other therapists in developing their work.
As an integrative therapist, I do not believe that one approach fits everyone. I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches depending on what you are experiencing, what you would like to change and what feels most useful to you. These include:
- Contemporary Psychotherapy

- DBT skills (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy)
- Solution-Focused, Brief & Single-Session Therapy
- Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
- Schema and Narrative Therapy
- Couples and Systemic Therapy
- Eco-Therapy and Nature-Based Approaches
- Trauma-Informed and Neurodiversity-Affirming Practice
This means therapy can include practical strategies for managing difficulties in the here and now, alongside opportunities to understand deeper emotional patterns, relationships and past experiences. We can shape the work around what you need, whether that is reducing anxiety, making sense of difficult experiences, changing unhelpful patterns, building confidence, or feeling more connected to yourself and others.
Reaching out for therapy can feel like a significant step. I offer a free 15-minute consultation where you can tell me a little about what brings you to therapy, ask any questions about how I work, and get a sense of whether we might be a good fit.

I’ve supported a wide range of clients, including high performers, military personnel, couples, senior leaders, parents, clinicians and many everyday people navigating difficult periods in their lives.
In my private therapy practice, I work with adults and young people 1:1, as well as couples, supporting people to navigate life’s challenges and facilitate change. Sessions are typically 50 minutes long. I offer both short-term focused work and longer-term therapy, depending on what feels right for you. As well as individual therapy for adults and young people, I also work with couples, provide clinical supervision for therapists, and offer consultation and psychoeducational workshops for organisations.
My first session
I offer a free 15-minute consultation, where I can hear more about you, share how I work, and you can ask questions to see if we might be a good fit.
If you decide to work together, the first session is a chance to get to know each other and explore further what has brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about what’s been going on for you, what you’re hoping to gain from therapy, and any questions you have about the process. It’s important that you feel safe and comfortable, so there’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready to.
We’ll also go over practical details such as confidentiality, session structure, and ways of working together. This session helps us decide if the fit feels right, and whether we’d like to continue. If I’m not the best person to support you, I’ll always do my best to point you in the right direction.

About me and my therapy practice
I offer clinical supervision for counsellors, psychotherapists, coaches and other practitioners who want a thoughtful, supportive and appropriately challenging space to reflect on their work. I work with both trainees and experienced practitioners, with supervision tailored to your level of experience, professional context and development needs.
My approach is integrative, relational and collaborative. I aim to provide a professional thinking space where we can explore client work, practitioner process, ethical dilemmas and relational dynamics, while supporting you to work safely, effectively and sustainably.
I am a ÌÇÐĹÙÍø-accredited psychotherapist and qualified clinical supervisor, having completed my Diploma in Clinical Supervision at The Awareness Centre. My supervision training included Hawkins & Shohet’s Seven-Eyed Model, the Proctor Model, and contemporary integrative and relational approaches.
I began my clinical career over ten years ago in the NHS, working across Older Adults, Adult Services, CAMHS, Learning Disability and Systemic Family teams, before moving into private practice.
Alongside my clinical work, I am an author, keynote speaker and founder of a mental health consultancy, working with organisations on mental health, leadership and organisational culture. This wider experience informs my supervision practice, particularly when working with practitioners navigating complex systems, teams, professional roles or organisational dynamics
Practice description
In supervision, I aim to balance support and challenge, helping supervisees reflect on their work with curiosity and compassion while staying grounded in professional and ethical frameworks. Supervision is a space to think together about client material, practitioner process, boundaries, transference and countertransference, and the personal impact of the work.
Sessions are led by your needs;
- A trainee developing your therapeutic identity, confidence and clinical skills
- An experienced practitioner wanting a reflective space to deepen or refresh your practice
- Working with complex client presentations, risk, safeguarding or ethical dilemmas
- Thinking through boundaries, transference, countertransference or challenging therapeutic relationships
- Developing or managing a private practice
- Integrating different therapeutic approaches or evolving your way of working
- Navigating burnout, compassion fatigue or the personal impact of therapeutic work
- Seeking a psychologically informed space to think about complex relational, clinical or organisational dynamics
We will review our work regularly to ensure supervision continues to meet your professional goals and supports your growth and wellbeing as a practitioner.
My current rates are;
£70 for 60 minutes
£90 for 90 minutes
