About me and my therapy practice

You look like you鈥檙e coping on the outside鈥

but inside, it feels overwhelming, anxious, or just too much.

Maybe your mind doesn鈥檛 switch off.

Maybe stress has become your normal.

Or you鈥檙e carrying a sense of loss or grief that feels heavy and hard to share.

You might feel exhausted by your thoughts, overwhelmed by everything you鈥檙e holding, or like you鈥檙e carrying more than others realise.

When things feel like this, it can be exhausting trying to manage it all on your own.

I offer a calm, confidential space where you can slow things down, talk openly, and feel genuinely listened to, without judgement, pressure, or the need to explain yourself perfectly. You don鈥檛 need to have everything figured out; we simply begin with what feels most important for you.

My way of working is gentle, supportive, and centred around you. Sessions are shaped around your needs, and we move at a pace that feels manageable. Whether you come with something specific or a general sense that things don鈥檛 feel quite right, you are welcome.

I work in a person-centred way, helping you make sense of patterns in your thoughts, feelings, and relationships. Where helpful, we may explore how past experiences are shaping how things feel for you now.

There is no pressure to find the right words. If it feels right, we can also use gentle creative approaches to support expression.

Over time, many people begin to feel more settled, more in control, and more like themselves again.

I work with adults, young people, and children experiencing anxiety, stress, overwhelm, low mood, and grief.

Sessions are held online. They are 50 minutes and cost 拢80. I also offer a 20-minute consultation for 拢20 if you鈥檇 prefer a gentler starting point.

I offer a calm, confidential, and supportive space where you can speak openly and feel genuinely listened to. Sessions are held online, providing a flexible and comfortable way to access support from a place where you feel safe.

You don鈥檛 need to have the right words or a clear explanation. We can begin with whatever feels easiest for you.

Therapy with me is collaborative and shaped around you. There isn鈥檛 a 鈥渞ight鈥 way to do therapy, sessions are guided by what feels most important, and we move at a pace that feels manageable. I won鈥檛 rush you or push you to share more than you鈥檙e ready to.

My first session

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, so I aim to make the process feel as calm and comfortable as possible.

Before booking a first session, I offer a 20-minute consultation call (拢20), which can be booked via my website. This gives you the opportunity to ask questions, share a little about what鈥檚 been going on for you, and get a sense of whether working together feels right.

The first full session is a chance for us to meet, talk through what has brought you to counselling, and begin to gently explore what you might need. There is no pressure to share everything straight away, you鈥檙e welcome to take things at your own pace.

I may ask a few gentle questions to help me understand your situation and what you鈥檙e hoping for, but this is not an assessment or test. You don鈥檛 need to prepare anything in advance or have clear goals; we can work things out together.

I will also explain how I work and go through practical details such as confidentiality and boundaries, so you feel informed and comfortable moving forward.

Sessions are held online and the first session is charged at the same rate as ongoing sessions (拢80). This offers a private and flexible way to begin therapy from a space where you feel most at ease.

By the end of the session, we can talk through how it felt for you and whether you鈥檇 like to continue. There is no obligation, the most important thing is that you feel this is the right space for you.

My aim is for you to leave feeling heard, reassured, and clearer about your next steps.
