About me and my therapy practice
Hello,
Thank you for reading my profile.
I’m Joanna, a ÌÇÐĹÙÍø Registered person-centred counsellor offering online therapy in a warm, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can explore life’s challenges at your own pace.
Alongside my counselling practice, I work professionally as a Senior Corporate Recruiter within the tech sector. This gives me a strong understanding of workplace pressure, burnout, career uncertainty, organisational stress and balancing personal wellbeing alongside professional expectations.
I value building safe and collaborative therapeutic relationships where clients feel heard, accepted and supported. I work online and offer counselling in both English and Polish.
Practice description
Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, and reaching out for support is not always easy. I offer a safe and confidential space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions and experiences without judgement.
I work with clients experiencing anxiety, low mood, self-esteem difficulties, stress, emotional overwhelm, relationship issues, grief, identity-related challenges and life transitions. I also have experience supporting clients struggling with workplace stress, burnout, professional pressure and career-related challenges.
My approach is primarily person-centred, while also drawing on psychodynamic understanding where appropriate. Together, we can explore patterns, relationships and experiences that may be impacting how you feel today, helping you develop greater self-awareness, emotional understanding and resilience.
I believe therapy should move at your pace and be shaped around your individual needs.
My first session
Taking the first step towards counselling can feel daunting, especially if this is your first experience of therapy. I aim to provide a calm and supportive space where you can feel comfortable exploring what has brought you to counselling.
I offer a free 20-minute introductory call where we can briefly discuss what you are looking for, how I work and whether working together feels like the right fit for you. There is no obligation to continue after this call.
In our first session, we will explore what has brought you to therapy, any goals or concerns you may have, and begin to build a therapeutic relationship at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Sessions are currently offered online in both English and Polish.
