Availability

I currently work online on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 10am and 7pm. I鈥檓 open for enquiries and usually able to offer a first session without a long wait. If I am ever fully booked, I will let you know and we can talk about whether a short waiting list feels manageable for you.

I offer a free 20鈥憁inute phone or video call so you can get a sense of me and ask any questions before deciding whether to book a full session.

As a solo practitioner, I aim to keep my practice steady and sustainable. This means I work with a small number of clients at any one time, so I can be present and attentive. I take regular breaks throughout the year and will always let you know in advance if I have planned time away.

About me and my therapy practice

I work in a calm, steady and person鈥慶entred way. This means we focus on what feels important to you, and we move at a pace that feels safe and manageable. I don鈥檛 push or rush. Instead, I pay attention to what鈥檚 happening for you in the moment, and we explore things together with curiosity and care.

My approach is trauma鈥慳ware and grounded in the belief that people make sense in context. I鈥檓 interested in your story, your relationships, your inner world, and the parts of you that may have learned to cope quietly or carry things alone.

I offer faith鈥憇ensitive counselling. If faith, doubt or spirituality is part of your life, we can include that gently and respectfully. If it isn鈥檛, we simply stay with your experience and what matters most to you.

Working online allows you to talk from a space that feels familiar and private. Many people find this helps them settle more easily and speak more freely.

Above all, I aim to offer a warm, grounded space where you can be heard without judgement and where you can take your time.

Practice description

My practice is online鈥憃nly and for adults (18+). I offer weekly 50鈥憁inute sessions via secure video, creating a calm and consistent space where you can talk from somewhere that feels comfortable and private.

Clients often come to me when they feel overwhelmed, stuck, low in confidence, or unsure how to make sense of what they鈥檙e carrying. Some are navigating loss or change; others are living with long鈥憈erm stress, anxiety or the effects of earlier experiences. You don鈥檛 need to have the 鈥渞ight words鈥 or a clear goal 鈥 we can find our way together.

My style is warm, steady and reflective. I pay attention to what feels manageable for you and to the parts of your story that may need time, gentleness or space. I work in a trauma鈥慳ware way and aim to create a relationship where you feel safe enough to explore things at your own pace.

I also offer faith鈥憇ensitive counselling. This doesn鈥檛 mean therapy is faith鈥慴ased; it simply means I鈥檓 comfortable including faith, doubt or spirituality if it鈥檚 part of your life, and equally comfortable not including it if it isn鈥檛.

My first session

Before booking a full session, I offer a free 20鈥憁inute phone or video call. This is simply a chance for you to get a sense of me, ask any questions, and see whether working together feels right. There鈥檚 no pressure to decide on the spot.

If you choose to go ahead, our first full session is a standard 50鈥憁inute paid session. I don鈥檛 offer a different rate for this session. We use the time to get to know each other and to explore what has brought you to therapy. You don鈥檛 need to prepare anything or tell your whole story 鈥 we can take things slowly.

I may ask a few gentle questions to help me understand what you鈥檙e hoping for and what feels most important right now, but there is no formal assessment. The focus is on building a sense of safety and connection so you can decide whether you鈥檇 like to continue.
