About me and my therapy practice
I'm a psychodynamic \ object relations trained therapist and counsellor for individuals and couples. My work is grounded in the belief that emotional distress often has deep roots in early relationships, and that healing involves making sense of the patterns we carry—sometimes unknowingly—into our adult lives.
I have worked for many years in a respected charitable setting, supporting individuals and couples facing a wide range of psychological challenges including anxiety, depression, grief, trauma.
I have particular experience working with burnout, especially where emotional exhaustion and perfectionism have led to a sense of disconnection—from self, from others, or from life’s deeper meaning. For many clients, this also includes a sense of spiritual depletion. I offer space to explore not just psychological wounds, but also the longing for reconnection—whether to purpose, inner vitality, or a broader spiritual framework.

If you've found yourself here, the chances are that something in your life isn't feeling quite right.
You may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, exhausted, or perhaps you're simply aware that things could be different. Sometimes people come to therapy because of a particular difficulty. More often, they come because they have spent a long time carrying things on their own.
The people I work with are often very capable. They are professionals, partners, parents, leaders, and carers. From the outside, life may look as though it's working. Yet underneath, they can feel disconnected from themselves, their relationships, or a sense of meaning and purpose.
Therapy offers a space to stop for a moment and ask some important questions. How did I get here? Why do I keep finding myself in the same patterns? What do I need? And who am I when I'm not simply responding to the demands and expectations of others?
My work is psychodynamic, which means we look beyond the immediate difficulties and become curious about what may be sitting beneath the surface. Together, we explore the experiences, relationships, and patterns that have shaped the way you think, feel, and relate to yourself and others.
About me and my therapy practice
I don't believe therapy is about fixing people. Nor is it about finding quick answers or learning to simply cope better. Often, it is about developing a deeper understanding of yourself so that meaningful and lasting change becomes possible.
Alongside my work with individuals, I also work with couples. Relationships can become caught in patterns that neither partner fully understands. Arguments that appear to be about everyday frustrations are often communicating something much deeper. Couples therapy provides a space to slow those patterns down and begin to understand what is happening between you.
One of the things I value most about therapy is that it offers something that is increasingly rare—a place where you do not need to perform, achieve, or have the answers. You simply need to arrive as you are.
Clients often tell me that therapy has helped them feel less stuck, more connected to themselves and others, and better able to make sense of their experiences. Not because I have given them the answers, but because they have begun to hear their own voice more clearly.
A little about me. I am a ÌÇÐĹÙÍø-registered psychodynamic therapist working with individuals and couples in North London, Milton Keynes, and online across the UK. Alongside my therapeutic work, I bring many years of experience in leadership, business, and community settings, giving me a genuine understanding of the pressures that come with balancing work, relationships, family life, and responsibility.
Finding the right therapist is an important decision. If you're considering therapy, I'd be happy to arrange an introductory conversation to see whether we might be a good fit to work together.
