About me and my therapy practice
A Warm Welcome!
I am a ÌÇÐĹÙÍø Registered Integrative Counsellor with over twenty five years’ experience supporting adults through periods of change, anxiety, loss and low self-confidence.
My approach is warm, collaborative and grounded in the belief that each person has the capacity for growth and change. Together, we can explore what may be preventing you from expressing yourself authentically and help you discover a more authentic way of living and expressing yourself. Through counselling, we can gently explore the emotional and psychological patterns that may be keeping you stuck, helping you develop greater self-awareness, resilience and self-compassion.
Alongside my counselling practice, I have many years’ experience working with performers, singers, teachers and other professionals whose work involves communication and creativity. This has given me a particular interest in supporting people experiencing anxiety, self-doubt, perfectionism, imposter feelings and creative blocks, while warmly welcoming anyone seeking support through life’s challenges.
As an Integrative Counsellor, I tailor therapy to the individual, drawing on different therapeutic approaches according to your needs. Whatever brings you to counselling, I will work alongside you with empathy, curiosity and respect, offering a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space in which you can explore your concerns at your own pace.
I currently offer counselling online via secure video sessions.
Practice description
Practice description
I offer integrative counselling to adults experiencing anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, bereavement, life transitions and emotional wellbeing concerns.
I also have a particular interest in working with people experiencing performance anxiety, perfectionism, imposter feelings and creative blocks, as well as those whose work involves communication, creativity or being in the public eye.
Sessions are collaborative, confidential and tailored to your individual needs. Together we will explore your concerns at a pace that feels right for you, helping you gain greater insight, strengthen your emotional resilience and move towards lasting and meaningful change.
My aim is to provide a warm, thoughtful and supportive therapeutic relationship in which you feel heard, understood and accepted, enabling you to develop a deeper understanding of yourself and the confidence to move forward with greater authenticity.
I currently work online via secure video sessions, making counselling accessible wherever you are in the UK, Ireland and Europe.
My first session
Our first session
Beginning counselling can feel like a big step, and it’s natural to feel uncertain or have questions before your first appointment.
Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and to explore what has brought you to counselling. You will have the opportunity to talk about what is currently happening in your life, what you hope to gain from therapy and any concerns you may have about the counselling process.
There is no expectation that you should tell me everything in our first meeting. We will work at a pace that feels comfortable for you, and you will always be free to ask questions or discuss anything that feels important.
If we decide that we would like to work together, we will discuss what might best meet your needs, including how often you would like sessions, whether you are looking for short-term or longer-term counselling, and how we can regularly review your progress together.
Sessions are 50 minutes long and currently take place online via a secure and confidential video platform.
