Hello, I鈥檓 Saima, and I work as an integrative counsellor and a member of 糖心官网. My approach is flexible. I use the methods and techniques that feel right for you at the moment, guided by both your needs and my experience.
I understand that seeking therapy can feel strange or even scary, especially if you come from a background where it鈥檚 still seen as doubtful or taboo. I grew up in such an environment myself and remember wondering: 鈥淐an therapy really help? How could a stranger understand me?鈥 That鈥檚 exactly why therapy works ... it鈥檚 a space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings freely, without fear of being criticised or compared.
When you understand yourself better, you start to see your world and relationships more clearly.
I also know what it鈥檚 like to face identity challenges. Growing up across three different countries, speaking three languages, and often feeling unsure of where I truly belonged, I鈥檝e experienced firsthand the struggle of navigating cultural expectations and personal identity. Through therapy, I鈥檝e discovered that self-acceptance is the key ... once you can accept yourself, it becomes possible to accept your surroundings and feel grounded.
Practice description
Together, we can explore your goals, challenges, and experiences in a way that feels safe, real, and respectful of your unique context.

It鈥檚 not an interview; you can ask anything, take your time, and explore at your own pace.
Whether it鈥檚 your first session or your hundredth, your experience will be unique and just for you.

About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I鈥檓 Saima, a 糖心官网-registered integrative counsellor offering online counselling in a safe, confidential and supportive space.
I provide therapy for individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship difficulties, identity challenges, and low self-esteem. My approach is integrative and client-centred, meaning I tailor therapy to suit your unique needs, experiences and personal goals.
Seeking therapy can sometimes feel unfamiliar or even intimidating, particularly if you come from a background where mental health support is still considered taboo. I understand this personally. Growing up in such an environment, I once wondered whether therapy could really help or how a stranger could understand my experiences.
Therapy offers a safe and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and life experiences openly, without fear of criticism or comparison. Many clients find that through counselling they develop greater self-understanding, emotional clarity, and healthier relationships.
I have a strong understanding of the complexities surrounding cultural identity, belonging, and navigating different cultural expectations.
Having grown up across three different countries and speaking three languages, I have experienced the challenges of feeling unsure about where you belong. These experiences have helped shape my culturally aware and inclusive approach to counselling, particularly for individuals navigating identity, migration, or cross-cultural experiences.
Practice description
As an integrative therapist, I draw on different therapeutic approaches depending on what will be most helpful for you. I believe there is no single method that works for everyone, so therapy should be flexible and responsive to each person.
My counselling style is:
Warm and empathetic
Non-judgemental and supportive
Culturally sensitive
Client-focused and collaborative
I aim to create a therapeutic space where you feel heard, understood, and respected, allowing you to explore challenges at your own pace.
I offer counselling for a range of emotional and psychological challenges, including:
- Anxiety and worry
- Stress and burnout
- Trauma and past experiences
- Relationship difficulties
- Identity and cultural challenges
- Low self-esteem and confidence
- Life transitions and personal growth
- Emotional overwhelm
I have worked with a diverse range of client groups, including:
- Individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, and trauma
- Refugees and people adjusting to new environments
- Underprivileged and unemployed individuals facing life challenges
These roles have allowed me to develop a compassionate, inclusive and culturally sensitive therapeutic approach.
