About me and my therapy practice
If you're feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or you're struggling to cope with life's challenges, therapy can help. Talking to a therapist can provide a supportive space to explore what's happening, gain a deeper understanding of yourself, and find a way forward.
I am passionate about supporting clients through life's challenges. I believe in the positive effect that therapy can have because it changed my life for the better. I was inspired by the therapist who supported me many years ago.
I have experience of supporting clients with a variety of challenges. These include low mood, depression, stress, anxiety, panic attacks, relationship difficulties, identity issues, bereavement, and loss. I have worked with people from a wide range of backgrounds. This is something I always strive to do with compassion, empathy, and respect.
I offer online and telephone sessions to clients across the UK. Sessions last 50-minutes and start at £40 per session. I understand that this may be out of reach for some people, so I also offer a discounted rate for students or people on low incomes.
Practice description
I offer a calm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and honestly about what is going on for you.
Sessions move at your own pace and are guided by what feels most important for you at the time. There is no pressure to have the right words or a clear direction when you begin.
My aim is to help you feel heard, understood, and supported as you explore your thoughts and feelings. I believe that being listened to with empathy and acceptance can create self-understanding, growth, and positive change.
My first session
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and explore what has brought you to counselling.
We will talk through the counselling agreement and you will have the chance to ask any questions you may have.
