About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified integrative counsellor with a strong foundation in the person-centred approach, which remains the heart of my work. I believe deeply in each person's capacity to grow, heal and flourish when offered a safe empathetic and non-judgmental space.
My training includes:
- Person-Centred Counselling
- Psychodynamic theory
- Gestalt
- Transaction Analysis
- Cognitive Behavioural approaches
While I work integratively, my natural orientation is humanistic and relational.
I am committed to ongoing continual professional development and intend to deepen my training in:
- ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy)
- REBT (Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy)
Alongside private practice, I work in the NHS offering Psychospiritual work in both acute and mental health settings.
Practice description
My practice is primarily aimed at women, offering a warm, confidential and collaborative therapeutic space.
I offer:
- Face to face sessions
- Online sessions
- Telephone sessions
- Email therapy
- Short term and long-term work
- Hybrid arrangements
I attend regular clinical supervision and I am in personal therapy, ensuring I work ethically, reflectively and safely.
I follow the ÌÇÐĹÙÍø Ethical Framework and hold full professional indemnity insurance.
My strongest foundation is the Person-centred Approach but I working integratively and pluralistically, adapting therapy to the unique needs of each client.

- Mild to moderate mental health issues
- Life transitions and adjustments
- Relationship difficulties
- Self esteem and identity
- General wellbeing and support.
I work within my professional limits and will signpost or refer you to specialist services when needed.
I do not work with:
- Sexual dysfunction or sexual issues
- Sexual Orientation work
- Children (I am not trained in child counselling)
- Severe or acute mental health crises (e.g. active psychosis)
I am not a children's counsellor either as I am not trained in that area.

My First Session
1. Initial contact
Send me a text message, and I will email a short enquiry form.
2. Introductory Call
You will be invited to a free 15 minute introductory telephone call to explore your needs or ask questions.
3) Assessment Session
If we decide to proceed, we will book an assessment session (preferably face to face).
- Fee £60
- Duration: Up to 1 hour
The assessment includes a detailed history, space for therapeutic exploration, and an opportunity to see whether we are a good fit. We can also discuss hybrid counselling options.
I have not finalised whether I will offer discounted block bookings or home visits.
