About me and my therapy practice

Hello and welcome, I’m Jessy.

Are you finding yourself feeling heavy, overwhelmed or anxious? Or a little bit of all of the above? Have you become used to masking your true feelings or not feeling like you have the permission to express yourself freely? You might have wondered if therapy will work for you. Or perhaps queried whether you deserve the support. I help people understand what’s occurring on the inside. I shine lights on the ignored or disregarded parts, experiences or feelings of a person.

I am a trauma-informed psychotherapist with an integrative approach imbedded with somatic and emotional regulation, CBT and dream analysis. I bring warmth, curiosity and a technique that helps you understand what’s happening in a space clear of judgement or urgency. Collaboratively, we can find your best pace, identify the areas to explore and notice the patterns that aren’t currently serving you.

I work with adults from all identities and backgrounds, offering weekly sessions face to face, online or on the phone. Not sure where to begin? No problem, we can start there.

Practice description

Jessy is a counsellor registered with the British Association of Psychotherapy and Counselling. She obtained an Advanced Diploma from CPPD, London. Jessy is offering short-term and long-term integrative therapy with adults seeking clarity and meaningful change.

The joy of integrative therapy is that she cherry picks the most suitable techniques and theories for each client. Resulting in a unique and individualised service for every client. Alongside her private practice she sees clients at Survivors in Transition conducting assessments and taking survivors through therapeutic programmes facilitating stability, self esteem and trauma processing.

My first session

The first session is an opportunity for us to go through the client contract together. I will explain a little bit about how I work and what to expect in our sessions. We might set some therapeutic hopes together, of what you would like to work on or where you hope to be when we finish. We might also discuss the timeframe of your therapy, agree on a number of sessions to aim for or an end date to work towards. But most importantly, we start wherever you are and I will listen to whatever you need to bring.
