About me and my therapy practice
I offer a warm and non-judgemental space for us to explore and navigate life’s difficulties together. I use several different modalities of therapy and tailor my approach to each individual person as I believe there is no ‘one size fits all’ answer. In our initial sessions we will figure out and establish what your goals for attending therapy are, whether that is to find answers to a specific problem or simply benefit from a confidential space to be truly heard.
I offer 60 minute sessions, online via Google Meet. As an integrative therapist I draw from many approaches, including person-centered, narrative attachment theory and acceptance & commitment therapy (ACT). I have experience helping clients with anxiety, depression, work related stress, chronic illness and difficult relationship dynamics.
Our past can shape how we see ourselves & how we relate to others, creating patterns that are often hard to shift. Exploring these stories together, we can begin to understand how different experiences, beliefs, & relationships intersect in your life. From there, space can open for new perspectives, that reflect your strengths, values & hopes for change.
Practice description
I am a qualified integrative psychotherapist and registered member of the ÌÇÐĹÙÍø based in Macclesfield, Cheshire, offering online therapy sessions.
Level 7 PGDip, MÌÇÐĹÙÍø - Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Staffordshire University
I have two years’ experience working with a trauma service in Congleton. I've had many different jobs before finding my calling in counselling and I believe that my life experience enriches my professional practice. I previously studied creative writing at Manchester University and I am passionate about self-expression. It’s perhaps because of this that I draw on elements from narrative attachment therapy in my practice, with a person-centred focus, and acceptance and commitment therapy techniques.
I offer a 10% discount for students and NHS staff, as well as a block of six sessions for £280.
