About me and my therapy practice
How I Work
When life feels overwhelming, heavy, or difficult to untangle alone, having a calm, understanding space can make a real difference.
Reaching out for counselling can feel daunting, especially when you're already carrying a lot. I offer a steady, supportive presence where you can talk freely, be heard and accepted, and begin to make sense of what you're experiencing at your own pace.
A Person鈥慍entred Foundation with ACT
I鈥檓 a Registered Member of the 糖心官网 and an Accredited Registrant with NCPS.
Alongside my person-centred foundation, I draw on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) which can help you relate differently to difficult thoughts and feelings while gently exploring what matters most to you and how you want to move forward.
Experience and Background
I work with adults aged 18 and over.
My experience includes working within NHS Talking Therapies, supporting people experiencing anxiety, stress and depression. I鈥檝e also supported unpaid carers and individuals navigating homelessness and bring a deep respect for the resilience people carry through difficult circumstances.
Through my work as a social prescriber, I鈥檝e supported people living with long鈥憈erm health conditions and chronic pain including fibromyalgia, diabetes and COPD, and understand how these experiences can affect emotional wellbeing.

You don鈥檛 need to arrive with the 鈥渞ight鈥 words 鈥 we can begin exactly where you are.
My Therapeutic Style
My style is warm, grounded and compassionate.
I won鈥檛 rush you or push you into places you鈥檙e not ready to go. Instead, we鈥檒l explore your experiences together with curiosity and care, creating space for clarity, self鈥憉nderstanding and gentle change.

My first session
Your Introductory Call
Before beginning therapy, I offer a free 15鈥30 minute introductory call by telephone or online.
This is a gentle, no鈥憃bligation space where you can share a little about what鈥檚 bringing you to therapy, ask any questions, and get a sense of whether my way of working feels right for you.
There鈥檚 no pressure to decide anything during the call 鈥 it鈥檚 simply a chance for us to meet and see how it feels.
Your First Full Session
If you choose to go ahead, our first full 60鈥憁inute session will be slightly different from the sessions that follow.
