Whether you’re looking for support for a child, young person or as an adult, you’re very welcome to book an initial phone call for a chat, here:

https://www.patchworkpathways.co.uk/book-your-initial-call

Part of my work is with schools, colleges and care providers, offering both individual sessions for specific children and young people, and regular on-site support for multiple students.

I hold an enhanced DBS certificate and can provide all required identification, insurance and professional documentation, making the referral and onboarding process straightforward and efficient.

If it would be helpful, I am able to go into school to work with your child or teen.

About me and my therapy practice

I specialise in working with children and young people, alongside my work with adults.

With a MSc in Counselling Children and Young People, and with over 20 years’ experience supporting them across a range of emotional and relational difficulties, including within education settings, I connect with and 'get' how difficult life can feel.

Many of the young people I work with are thoughtful and sensitive, but can find themselves overwhelmed, anxious, or carrying more than feels manageable. Many are angry and feel misunderstood. Many withdraw and isolate themselves from the family or people around them.

Many adults I work with are experiencing similar feelings of anxiety, overwhelm, or difficulty making sense of their experiences. Struggling with relationships, self-esteem, work or the challenges that life brings us. Feeling lonely or sad.

I help make sense of what you’re experiencing.

I work integratively, meaning I personalise sessions to you as an individual. As well as talking therapy, I also offer creative approaches which include Lego based and Domino Therapy, sandtray work, drawing, beads and bracelet making and many more.

Practice description
