About me and my therapy practice
At Becoming you counselling, I offer counselling sessions online and via telephone, making support accessible wherever you feel most comfortable. Some people prefer the ease of speaking from their own home, while others appreciate the flexibility these options provide alongside busy lives.
Sessions are typically 50 minutes long and take place in confidential, supportive space where you can talk freely about whatever is on your mind.
I offer a free, no-obligation initial consultation so we can briefly discuss what's brought you to counselling, what you are hoping for, and whether working together feels right for you.
Practice description
Many people come to counselling feeling emotionally exhausted, overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or stuck in patterns they no longer understand. You may have spent years surviving through anxiety, people-pleasing, masking, addiction, self-doubt, relationship difficulties, or constantly putting the needs of others before your own.
I offer a warm, non-judgmental and compassionate space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions and experiences safely, at your own pace. Together, we can begin untangling the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, helping you reconnect with yourself more deeply and understand who you are beneath survival mode.
As a person-centred counsellor, I believe therapy should feel human, honest and supportive — not clinical or intimidating. I work relationally and with empathy, recognising the courage it can take to reach out for support.
I offer online and telephone counselling across the UK, with a free informal initial chat to explore whether counselling feels right for you.
My first session
I offer a free informal initial chat to give you the opportunity to ask questions, talk briefly about what has brought you to counselling, and explore whether we feel like the right fit to work together.
There is no pressure or obligation to continue after the call. I understand that reaching out for support can feel daunting, so the initial chat is simply a calm, supportive space for you to get a sense of how I work and whether counselling feels right for you at this time.
